I love these pill pouches. My sister introduced me to another brand and I thought they were so clever and a godsend because my dog has to take a med daily and I was running out of ways to hide it so she would find palatable. The other brand was good but it go dry and fell apart. the Chewy pouches are soft and pliable. I. stilll dampen them a little after squeezing the pill in, but that's because my dog seems to need a lot of moisture to swallow. I recommend these pouches to anyone whose dog requires any kind of pill or capsule medication.
Great Product- Helped MY Rescue Dog!
We Bought Both Milk Bone Pill Pouches- Hickory Smoked Bacon and Chicken- Because We Rescued a 3 Month old Schnoodle- that was in a Hoarding situation- but had never been on Grass or real dog food- - She needed Medication to rehabilitate. Switching between the two flavors caught her off her game and made giving her -- her Medications Super Super easy!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND- MUCH BETTER THAN THE MUCH MUCH HIGHER PRICED COMPETITION!!! JUST SAYIN!
They would eat dirt!
I struggled giving my dog medication in pill form. She is an Australian Shepherd and could somehow figure out what I was doing and leave the pill on the floor in many cases. She is currently experiencing crystals and needs to take a really nasty tasting pill. The pouches work great. She now not only takes her pills but is anxious about it. I truly believe I could put dirt in the pouch and she would eat it
Yummy to Greyhound and smell good to human, too
Greyhound Cleo is a finicky eater and NOT food motivated unless the treat is really yummy to her. She LIKES these pill pouches, which I refer to as her "yummy treat with a crunchy center". I like the texture better than that of the leading pill pocket brand, as these aren't as greasy, and they are easier to shape around the pill. I just ordered several more packets, to get through the next month of arthritis medicine.
Does it’s job
Does it’s job, Even though my dog knows there’s a pill in there and she tries to bite around it she is never successful! The pill pockets are soft and sticky and form a bond with the medicine that my dog cannot defeat.
Pill pocket love
My Havanese jumps for joy to get his chewy bacon treat. He even comes to remind me it’s pill time! They are soft & easy to stash 2 pills inside. Much easier than hiding the pills in cheese balls, or ice cream or dog pate. My 91 year old Mom cracks up watching the dog do somersaults in excitement.
Loves those Pill Pouches
Sophie has a few chewable medications that she just doesn't care for. And they are definitely meant to be chewed -- they are pretty big. Too big for me to fall back on poking them down her throat. So, I use a pill pouch -- just put the big lump into the middle opening and then sort of spread the pouch around the chewable lump. She will chomp that up and it disappears in no time. And she's looking for more. I started with the peanut butter flavor, but those no longer seem to be available. She's fond of the two remaining flavors. And I'm fond of the price, which is lower than any of the other pill pouches I've found.
Better than the chicken
My dog has no problem taking the pill pockets but tried these on a whim and he loves them. The chicken ones he eats but sniffs them first and thinks about taking them. The bacon flavored ones get eaten a lot quicker.
great way to give pills to our dog
Our boxer mix hates to take pills. She thinks she's getting a treat when I put her pills in these pill pouches and she takes them easily.
Great wrap around pill pockets
I use these to hide my labs joint supplement and what I love about these pill pockets is I can use half at a time I just wrap it around the pill et ouilla no pill and my lab love's the taste
