reasonable price compared to buying locally

Wild birds love these worms. Whatever I put out for them is gone within an hour or so. Gives them a nice breakfast.

My chickens absolutely love these treats! The moment they see me coming with the bag, they flock to the gate, eager for their snack. They’ll even eat them right out of my hand and peck at me (and the bag) if I’m not fast enough! I love that these black soldier fly larvae are packed with protein and a great source of calcium—perfect for helping my girls recover after molting and get back to laying as the days grow longer. Plus, knowing that BSFL are sustainably sourced makes this an even better choice for eco-conscious chicken keepers. Highly recommend!

Grubmaster dried black soldier fly (BSF) larvae was a great hit with my chicken ladies. First, I appreciated the emphases advertised on the bag: excellent source

Grubmaster dried black soldier fly (BSF) larvae was a great hit with my chicken ladies. First, I appreciated the emphases advertised on the bag: excellent source of calcium, high in protein, and boosts the immune system. My flock is a mix of girls that need an extra calcium boost (current layer), in need of protein (molter), and needing an immune boost (fluctuating weather). Second (and related), the protein, fat, and calcium content in Grubmaster are slightly higher than some other brands of BSF that I've used previously, which makes this particular brand a good one to use prior to the warmer weather when there are hens with varying nutritional needs. Third, whether in a cup, toy, from my hand, or free ranging, the medium size of these BSF worked perfectly for my birds to munch, snack, and receive their extra protein boost snacks. Although I would have appreciated a more local American-made source, the freshness and nutritional value of these worms were perfect!

I have 16 Australia chickens. I poured about a cup of this product into a container and put it in our chicken coop. Our birds don’t like to go out when there is

I have 16 Australia chickens. I poured about a cup of this product into a container and put it in our chicken coop. Our birds don’t like to go out when there is snow on the ground. They didn’t really seem interested in them at first, but by the end of the day the tray was all gone. I have been giving this to them for a couple of weeks, and I have noticed that the egg shells are stronger than they have been. I don’t think these are a favorite treat though.
