Distinguished is a fully fortified textured feed. It is not necessary to add additional protein, vitamin or mineral supplements if this feed is fed as directed. Feed at a minimum rate of 4 pounds per day and increase depending on the intensity of work, size, and body condition of the horse. If individual feeding levels drop below the recommended rate, consult Hallway Feeds on the use of a protein, vitamin and mineral supplement, ie Stamm 30. Distinguished is designed to be offered along side forage to provide a balanced diet and to do so should be fed with a minimum of 1.5% of bodyweight per day of high quality forage (hay, pasture, hay cubes).
