So I recently started the vegan journey myself and sought a good for my dogs that would be healthy for them while morally aligning with my beliefs. I'm so glad I found this specific food. My 3 dogs literally tore the sack up after I emptied it into the storage container bc it smelled so good. When I started mixing little bits into their old food to transition them, they picked out the pieces of this food and ate it over the old food pieces! So far their poops look good and their little toots smell like peanut butter LOL. I feel so good knowing they love the food and it's healthy for them.

Scamp tried this the first day, but now he sniffs at his bowl and walks away. So rude. In his golden years, he has apparently transitioned into a cat, because he won’t eat anything I feed him, because he once recently got a taste of that delicious foods our cats get, and he goes to great lengths to get at it. I thought this would win him over, because it’s PEANUT BUTTER. I think he’s trying to financially destroy me because I’ve had to buy so much food that he then won’t eat.

We werent sure what to expect from this brand as we have never purchased it before. Our dog is very picky about his food. There is more food in this bag than it looks. We like the fact that it is the perfect size for our medium sized dog and that it actually has a pleasant smell to it. Once we put this in his bowl, it took him a few minutes to take to it but he really seem to like it. He is not a big eater so this bag will last a while for him. We are very happy with this food and will look to purchase a bigger bag in the future. We have a happy dog with a full belly! My only complaint is the price is a little high for this size bag, but since he likes it, it is well worth every penny.

Packaging is both appealing to the eye and convenient as it has a resealable top. I wish all dog food bags came this way!! When I showed my dogs the bag of food they immediately took interest to it. I gave them each a scoop to try and they were so excited and LOVE the food. I like how the food itself doesnt look dried out or leave any crumbs. Im going to have to order more!!

Even though our girl didn't have the excited reaction I'd hoped for when trying the peanut butter variety of her favorite brand of dry food, she does eat it when mixed in with her other food or given alone with topper added. Very happy with the Halo brand, she does so well on the plant based with kelp, being allergic to most animal proteins. I recommend this variety and will continue to purchase the peanut butter recipe.

The kibble is small, flat and a perfect size for my little dogs, all under 15 pounds. The bag has a Velcro like closure which I love for keeping the kibble fresh.
