About Halo Wet Cat Food

Holistic. Whole. Humane.

Halo is committed to providing no less than the best holistic recipes to satisfy your cat’s carnivorous cravings. Their wet cat food combines pure, natural ingredients like whole meat, poultry and fish plus non-GMO fruits and vegetables for delicious, more digestible meals. Following a whole meat philosophy, Halo never uses animal by-products or meat meals—just the real, whole proteins your cat needs to thrive.

Super Digestibility

Halo believes that whole meat equals a whole lot more digestibility. As obligate carnivores, cats need meat, not just parts of animals that you wouldn’t consider to be meat. When your pet gets whole proteins instead of rendered meats like chicken meal or fish meal, they’re getting optimum nutrition that’s easier for their body to digest. And that means they can get the full benefits of each nutrient-rich ingredient.

What's in Your Cat's Bowl?

With Halo, you won’t see a "meat meal" hiding anywhere in the ingredients, and there’s no corn, wheat, wheat gluten, rice or artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Here’s what you will find:

HOLISTIC WHOLE PROTEIN: Salmon, whitefish, chicken or turkey that's slow-cooked provides a more digestible source of protein with up to 16 times less ash than rendered meat.

NON-GMO PRODUCE: Fruits and vegetables from farms that refuse to use genetically modified seeds that rely heavily on chemical fertilizers and herbicides to produce crops.

Giblets or Pate, what do you say?

i ordered the Turkey giblets instead of Turkey Stew by accident, and it's not little bits of gib at all, it's a juicier, darker pate and the cats like it more! Voila!

2 paws up!

Both Poo and Rocky liked the regular turkey version of this brand, but because they become bored with their food, I decided to try the turkey with giblets. Rocky has an allergy to certain food, mainly chicken. Both cats will eat this with gusto and no vomiting. That makes it a keeper for me as I have had to donate too many cases of cat food because of the vomiting. Both cats and mom are happy with this! Until they get bored with it, that is

They're digging it

I've tried other halo flavors in the past and my kitties weren't to keen on them. Gave them this pate and even my picky one liked it. Hoorah!

the recipe has changed

My two cats and my partner’s three cats all loved this until last month when all five cats (in two different homes) all suddenly started turning their noses up at it. Additionally, around then there started to be a fly problem with the food I had never had before. I switched to a different Halo kind and all is good again but something seems off!

They will not eat it

Raised my cats on grain free wet food, and they are fine with it. This Halo turkey indoor they will not eat. I dunno why. Must be the taste.

Cats love it

Both of my cats love this brand of wet food. The texture is great, not too thick, not too thin. Hope Chewy never stops selling this brand.

Cats love it

My picky cats will eat this food. They like the smooth pate texture and the taste. I recommend putting just half a can or less because they won't eat dry leftovers.

On again, off again.

My cats are picky, but they do need a mostly fiber-free wet food. I add a little wet Friskies pate on top for taste, to get my oldest cat started. Works well, when they feel like eating. I also use Halo dry food for sensitive stomachs, which seems to be a good balance so far.

It’s a winner!

My cat really likes this brand and this flavor In particular. She does not really like the Turkey and Giblets varieties from Friskies or Fancy Feast. But she gobbles up the Halo Turkey and Giblets. It must be due to the quality of the ingredients.
