Wil these fit on a 7-month-old Shih Tzu ?

You can not use it on any brachycephalic breed they have no snout. Do your research

In the video it shows two leads? So if you hook the chin strap to the D ring where are you attaching the other lead? Makes it look like horses reins. Please let me know

For this headcollar, the manufacturer recommends using a double-ended lead with one end connected to the ring under the dogs jaw and the other connected to the dogs collar. This allows for more effective training by allowing you to walk your dog on their normal collar and only using the head collar to correct behavior.

This product is intended to make leading your dog easier, but still allows for them to open their mouths and lick and eat things outside if not deterred from them..

It worked but . . .

This worked very well for making our walks easier. She immediately stopped pulling but any pulling at all causes it to slip due to fabric from which it is made

I am constantly adjusting it to tighten it back up or else it slips off of her completely if she gets excited and pulls. I would choose a different brand.

Not for a strong dog!

The head collar works by making it useless to keep pulling on the leash. It frustrates the dog and encourages them not to pull. They will still pull while they are

This leash doesn’t Stand up to that and my new head collar snapped on our first walk! Might be effective for a smaller dog

Easily adjustable in 2-3 areas for a perfect fit for my dog

It seemed effective for walks without pulling.

On the very first walk she was able to chew it off without my knowledge. Very disappointed.

Great head control

I really like this headlead. the only trouble we are having is that while the nose fitting is perfect, the collar that goes around the neck does not adjust down

I really like this headlead. the only trouble we are having is that while the nose fitting is perfect, the collar that goes around the neck does not adjust down to a small enough size to fit well on our dogs neck. It slips down and is then less effective in controlling the instinct to pull. I do like the extra strap that attaches to the dog's regular collar for walks, but when doing long lead training our dog got oneof his legs tangled up in it so it needs to be taken off for that kind of use. All in all this is a good product.

Works!

I liked this particular one because it has the safety attachment to the collar and the loop around the muzzle adjusts and clamps shut. That helps as it took a while

I liked this particular one because it has the safety attachment to the collar and the loop around the muzzle adjusts and clamps shut. That helps as it took a while for Jade to get used to it. She pawed at it but couldn’t remove it since it tightened nicely. Yes, it keeps her from pulling too.

It works but gets in the eyes

I have a Doberman weighing over 100 pounds and have fallen multiple times prior to trying the halti. With this collar our walks are much more manageable. I can leave

I have a Doberman weighing over 100 pounds and have fallen multiple times prior to trying the halti. With this collar our walks are much more manageable. I can leave the house and lock the door properly. My dog also waits for me when he feels the tension from the leash. The biggest issue is the fit. The piece between the nose and the neck is too short and it naturally rides up. I've tried all the variations and adjustments yet it's unavoidable for his type of nose. If I give him more room so it doesn't ride up then it starts to slide. He rubs his face at any given moment because it's just too uncomfortable right at the bottom of his eyes.
