is it an actual hoodie like a sweatshirt with a hood or is it just a hood like a hat?
Answer by ChewyJun 22, 2020
This hoodie is not a sweatshirt. It is a soft, expandable, comfort band that is placed over a pet's ears to provide relief and protection from loud noises and forceful air.

What prevents them from getting it off
Answer by ChewyOct 14, 2020
If your pet has enough strength, energy and determination, they might be able to remove the hoodie. Some pets may not be as receptive to wearing Happy Hoodie; however, most are very appreciative with having it on during a stressful situation.

10/10 Recommend

Love this hoodie, I may end up buying a 2nd one for my girl if this one doesn’t fit her! My male doesn’t freak when I pull out the blow dryer anymore so I think this does a good job of blocking out the noise. 10/10 recommend for bath time!

Not happy with hoodie cap

I purchased the Happy Hoodie Cap to help my dog with his hematoma. The description said it could be used for that purpose. My dog had it off in 2 seconds. It was no help at all.

Never again

This product is basically a sock, so as soon as I put it on my dog, he of course tried to get it off. Using his front feet, clawing at it, his dew claw snagged the sock. I took it off right away afraid he would rip off his nail. The material was snagged up. I threw it away instantly. May be an ok idea if it was different material.

Very constricting

Ordered Xlarge in addition to the large and the Xtra large was still way too tight on my dog. I needed something to hold dressing in place due to bleeding hematoma. Waste of money. Now waiting on a soft e collar in hopes that works.

Order an XL

Order an XL for dogs that are medium to large. The hoodie is more tight than it should be for the larger dog. Chewy will gladly exchange for a bigger, or smaller, size if needed.

Great for grooming!

This product is great, and helps keep my pup relaxed on the grooming table during blow drys and nail trims.

Did not work

Did not help my anxious dog at all. He learned how to shake it off his ears in a few minutes.

happy Hoodie

It has taken my dog a bit of time to get used to it but it helps him relax on his walks and keeps him warmer and drier.

Worked great

Our dog had surgery on her neck and the vet recommended a turtle neck sweater to protect it. We found these on Chewy and they worked great. I had to modify it to open holes for her ears but that was easy.

Wowzah! Impressed

I didn’t know what to expect, but my dog was whining and barking at the wind at 2am, and I put this on over his ears and he got completely calm, snuggled up and started snoozin’ away.
