Teeth Cleaning is No Longer a Struggle!

We have a Great Dane, so needless to say teeth cleaning time can be a bit difficult, as he's not a big fan. We previously used dental wipes that were a circle round pad, and those were difficult to hold onto and effectively clean each tooth. Brushing with a standard toothbrush was hard to reach the back of his mouth without almost choking him. These finger wipes were exactly what we needed. We're able to get our finger deep in his mouth where a lot of the build-up is. You're able to actually feel if each tooth is getting clean. So glad we came across these and wish we would have found them sooner, it would have saved us from so many struggles with our boy who weighs as much as we do!

Do not use on your cat

I thought the product was safe for cats since its printed on the label that its for dogs and cats. However, it contains Aloe Vera which is toxic to cats. Its caused

I thought the product was safe for cats since its printed on the label that its for dogs and cats. However, it contains Aloe Vera which is toxic to cats. Its caused my cat to have diarrhea and as a result, greatly affected his mood. I'm actually disappointed in Chewy that it did not vet this product (or at least provide a warning), though its also my fault for not checking. Its well known that Aloe Vera is not to be ingested by cats and these dental wipes are essentially putting the Aloe Vera straight into the cat's mouth. These might be great for dogs, but do not use on your cats.

Too much of a seam allowance around the tip and they are too large

These are too large and there is too much of a seam allowance. They may work well for very large dogs but not for my small and medium dogs and definitely not cats

Easier than a toothbrush

Our dogs aren't big fans of toothbrushes, even with special flavored toothpastes, but they seem to be okay with these, maybe they are gentler? Either way, it's good

Not effective for my pup

These didn’t seem to work well for my pup. The material / liquid was just kind of slippery and didn’t clean well. I wish it had more traction and cleaned better

Work great (despite labeling typos)

I'm a stickler for typos on labeling because I feel that if a company can't label things correctly, I don't know if I can trust them with the quality of the product

I'm a stickler for typos on labeling because I feel that if a company can't label things correctly, I don't know if I can trust them with the quality of the product either (proven true many times when shopping online!) Despite the typos on this packaging, these wipes have proven to be very easy to use. I'm working with my 10 year old pittie mix and 1.5 year old staffy and both are letting me clean their teeth with these. Still working on their comfort level but with the Virbac Enzymatic poultry flavored toothpaste, I'm managing to get my finger in their mouths and do some scrubbing. Back teeth are still a challenge for me lol. They have a mild scent which I can't identify but the dogs don't seem to care because they want the toothpaste.

My vet recommended these to me as having the lowest amount of potentially harmful chemicals than most dental wipes. I use them on my 14 yr old terrier, whose breath was quite bad. They’re easy to use and after a few days, his breath is much better.
