No twigs

A lot of this type of birdseed has twigs in it which rips the bags. This brand so far has very few twigs in it.

I tried this bird seed along with the hanging sock for the birds to eat out of. We live in a wooded area with a lot of birds, especially finches. The seed comes in a standard plastic bag, which I sealed with a clip after opening so it does not spill. The seed is pretty fine and black in color. Similar shape to rice with no noticeable smell. The bird seed doesn’t seem to be attracting many birds like I was expecting. I’m not sure if they are not a fan of the seed or the sock it is hanging in. I hung the bag from a post near a tree and placed a bird house next to it. The 5lb bag is a little pricey if you go through a lot with many birds in your area. I filled up one sock and so far after a week, I do not notice hardly any seed gone.

Fits well with the suggested bags. I have not seen any birds yet but it is fall so they're probably migrating. All the birds the bag says likes the seeds do live around here, so hopefully they will eventually show up. I also think it's because of the season change because no squirrels have shown up either. I will try to remember to edit this around spring. It does come with a good amount of seeds. I filled all three seed bags completely and I still have some leftover. And the seeds only fall out of the bag when moved so I don't have a giant pile on the ground.

Goldfinches LOVE this!

And I love that it is non-germinating, so I won't have thistles growing in my yard. Win, win!
