Hi! My pug (Big Bart) is 50 lbs. Is this bed to big for a 50 pound pug?

We recommend measuring your pet in their natural sleeping position to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in their normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size. The Medium bed measures 25 inches long x 21 inches wide x 8 inches tall and the Large bed measures 34 inches long x 24 inches wide x 8 inches tall.

Sadly my two cats did not sleep or even go into this for more than a minute.. I put my hand on it and it has very little filler. My hand without pushing went right to the floor under it! I put blankets on it but they still will not lay on it. I will keep trying things as it does look good.

The color and style

I and both my dogs loved the size, style, color and that it was machine washable. I purchased 2. I washed one and it opened up in the washer, stuffing everywhere

I and both my dogs loved the size, style, color and that it was machine washable. I purchased 2. I washed one and it opened up in the washer, stuffing everywhere. Chewy replaced it. I washed the other on gentle cycle as customer service suggested, it fell apart also. The one that was replaced has now also fallen apart. These were only washed once. Three did not hold up and all opened up along the same area on a seam. I did call and let Chewy know the situation. If they could be updated to not fall apart when washed, I would buy again as everything else was great about it.
