Not your ordinary bird mix, this 100% edible mix is packed with Tropican granules, peanut flavored sticks packed with nutrients and protein to support overall health and promote strong bones and vibrant feathers. Parrots love eating up the tasty hulled exotic grains, legumes, nuts and fruits, and there are zero hulls or shells which means less mess and clean-up. The formula provides plenty of different textures and flavors to help prevent birdie food boredom, and is also enhanced with essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids for beak to tail feather well-being.

    Tropmix Large Parrot Bird Food

    By on

This is a good product at a good price. There is too much corn which my macaws throw on the floor, but I pick it out first and share it with the wild birds outside.

    Love Tropimix

    By on

I love tropimix but get frustrated that I order and then get notified that it is out of stock. I’m gonna give it another try. My parrots need a supplier they can depend on.

    Not as pictured

    By on

Way too many pellets and too much corn. Certainly not what the picture looks like. Neither my grey or macaw would eat the pellets but they picked through for a couple walnuts. Even the dried fruit looked dismal. Maybe my bag was the bottom of the bin.

    Looked like good stuff

    By on

It looked good, but our macaw won’t even touch it. The big chunks shown in the picture are not that big, nickel sizes or smaller.

    Macaw likes

I’m trying something different, want to see if there is less waste. I mix this with Higgins “in tune” pellets.

Our Grays and Amazons both love it

    By on

It seems that feeding our aviary has become my responsibility (wife feeds our three Danes and her fish), and she’s extremely particular about the food she chooses-which led us to Chewy in the first place-and she’s equally demanding about the birds food, as well. However, finding quality food that both species of birds will eat is a challenge, which apparently becomes my task. We’ve got two Grays and four Amazons. This is the latest attempt to find something that both will eat without throwing it out of their bowls. Pretty happy with the quality, and with them actually eating the food now, it lasts longer, and that makes me happier still.

    Parrots love it but..

    By on

My Parrots love this food and my Macaw who loves to waste food, does not waste as much. I have to keep it in the garage in a sealed container because it was infested with pantry moth larva.
