THought I loved it till....
At first it had fruits nd vegetaables on the top, however that was it. There was very little if any after that. Very disappointed. So I mixed it with another brands food. THEn the other day I decided to just feed my birds just this and was sasley surprised when I went to change the food that othing had been eaten. The African Gray just breaks the pellets in half and leaves it in the bowl and my RIngneck which gets the small size food ate nothing. It is I good I give them a lot of fruits and vegetables in the morning.
good stuff
good pellet nut mix ive been using a while now . for people who complain of moths. its not chewy, i seem to get them from wherever i order. if you freeze the bag like any other food item for birds it will kill the moth larvae. i freeze , let it defrost then re freeze 2 cycles. 3 kills a good 99 percent if you want to go there.
High quality food
My macaws loves this size Tropimix! Such a good quality food and always fresh!
Infested with maggots
I bought this food again for my sun conure. I opened the bag and there was maggot like works and webbing in the bag. I am beyond disgusted.

Belongs in the garbage
I thought that this seed/nuts and fruit was going to be good for the price I paid. Once I opened the back, there were nuts on the top, but very few dispersed throughout. It was mostly 80% a meal based type pellet that my parrots absolutely hated. All 3 of them hated it. Will not purchase again.

My macaw likes it but even keeping it in the garage sealed up has not stopped the moths from infesting my house. This would be great if there was a way to get it without the moth larvae in it
Good Mix for Price
There are always some items in these premixed packages that a bird may or may not like but overall this is a good quality mix and not a lot of filler/junk that you find in other foods. As long as the price stays reasonable this will be the mix of choice for our 3 cockatoos.
Tropmix Large Parrot Bird Food
This is a good product at a good price. There is too much corn which my macaws throw on the floor, but I pick it out first and share it with the wild birds outside.
Love Tropimix
I love tropimix but get frustrated that I order and then get notified that it is out of stock. I’m gonna give it another try. My parrots need a supplier they can depend on.
