Offer 8 - 14 berries per day, being sure that your bird always has food available. Crumble if necessary for bird's preference or size.
Crumble berries into bird's regular diet, and offer whole pieces as well. Reduce the amount of previous diet while increasing berries. Weigh bird daily on a gram scale (kitchen scale). If weight loss of more than 10%, resume previous diet and begin again.
Unfortunately, I ordered this thinking it was a variation of regular seeds and shells that were in the second product I ordered. I've not opened the tub yet so am wondering if there is someone who lives local to me that I could work out some kind of trade. Otherwise, the tub will go unopened. :(.
My parrot really enjoys eating and tossing around this food. The vet is pleased with this as a food for him so it works for me. This is the second time I have ordered the larger amount and if you have a five gallon buck with a lid, it is great.
My African Grey love these treats. Highly recommend
I was a bit nervous about buying these because my Pionus is slow to accept new foods and I had only purchased the specialty flavored Nutri-berries before. However she likes these just fine and since they are a bit cheaper I will continue to buy these. My vet says these are a healthy food so that ticks all the boxes for me.
I Get this all the time, last order the seed balls were crumbled and smelled stale. Another bad bucket I will shop elsewhere.
I give my parrot three of these a day as a treat, and he loves them. He talks, so when I put them in his dish one at a time, he exclaims with an "Oooohhhhh!" That's his stamp of approval!
The "Classic" berries are pretty good. But there are others my bird prefers more.
Our African Grey loves Nutriberries. She has been enjoying these most of her 32 years.
Josephine, my 47 year old bare eyed cockatoo loves variety in her diet. I provide her with quality food including Nutriberries and Zupreem. It keeps her healthy and happy. Only the best for my girl.
Parrot doesn't seem to care for this variety much. He loves the tropical fruit version and avi cakes. Will stick with those in the future.
