Disappointed in kibble size

I bought this food because it was called "large bites", with the intention of putting it in their treat dispenser balls so that it wouldn't drop out quickly. As

I bought this food because it was called "large bites", with the intention of putting it in their treat dispenser balls so that it wouldn't drop out quickly. As someone else mentioned, the kibble is the same size as any other regular sized kibble. The food itself is fine but I won't buy it again due the misleading label regarding large bite size and not being what I bought it for.

Not Large Bites

I ordered this food because I have a Great Dane, who basically ingests her food and does not really chew it. I love the food that she is on which is a ProPlan food

I ordered this food because I have a Great Dane, who basically ingests her food and does not really chew it. I love the food that she is on which is a ProPlan food but I thought I would look for a food that had larger kibble so she would actually chew her food. Health Extension Large Bites comes highly rated and she absolutely loves it. My problem with it is that it is not “large bites”! It is ultimately the same size kibble as my large breed food from pro plan. I will finish this bag because she does like it, but I doubt that I will repurchase it. It did not meet my requirement of getting a larger sized kibble.

Love most of the ingredients

The '"ORIGINAL" variety has most of the ingredients I like to see in my dogs' kibble with no legunes (ongoing debate whether or not causing heart problems in dogs)

The '"ORIGINAL" variety has most of the ingredients I like to see in my dogs' kibble with no legunes (ongoing debate whether or not causing heart problems in dogs). I added a GSD puppy where the breeder warned to avoid high protein puppy food during the first 24 months to prevent rapid growth (better for muscle ligament & bone growth). After spending days looking for low protein % kibble, this original variety for large breed fit the bill. Sure, there are only a couple ingredients I wish it didn't have, but overall, it was the best I could find that fit the protein, fat, calcium percentage the breeder required. I also love it doesn't have wheat, corn, ethoxyquin, GMO, soy (which are high in glyphosate). The added bonus it contains a rich source of glucosamine, L-Carnitine, mushroom blend, probiotics, and other wonderful, impressive ingredients. I add a light sprinkle of collagen peptides (keep ears erected) and salmon oil (offered here by Chewy) to my pup's first morning feeding. I want to note that I transition new food longer than suggested. I start with a few kibbles in the dish the first week and gradually increase the amount of kibble each week. After 3 weeks to a month, 100% new food. I never experienced any digestive or bowel problems by doing this method.
