This is the first time I have used this feed to ferment and they have gone crazy for it!
Good feed! I just bought this feed and my flock instantly went to town like it was a gourmet meal. I have never seen my chickens eat so voraciously. The grain was colorful and appetizing looking. I will buy this again!
My Chickens will eat up every bit of this feed. Won't be going back to thw old feed that they wouldn't eat the pellets of.
The hens did not eat the pelleted feed so I had to feed more to offset. Not sure why the avoided the pellets.
This feed is excellently made. High quality and really good texture. I mix this with my layer pellets to ensure a balanced diet for my pasture raised hens and they absolutely go crazy for this whole grain feed. Way better than some other brands on the market that are either over priced or lack the non-GMO tag.
This feed was really good for the first several orders but 2 of the last 3 orders had pantry moth larvae and the last order smelled rancid as well. My chickens deserve better.
My hens wouldn't eat it. I know they don't like pellets, but these are small ones! They did pick at some of the grain, but wasted the majority of the feed.
The chickies love this food more than any other we have tried. Highly recommended and worth the cost.
Seven chickens went through a 30 pound bag in five days. I guess you could say they love it. I will need to mix with another food to make it last longer, but this is gold to my hens.
I tried this product for the winter when my girls don't free range as much and used it as a regular feed as well as a bit of scratch tossed into their run. They didn't love it but ate it. Don't see the benefit of the price tag.
