I have wanted a bird feeder for a while and the suet cake seems a little easier to use then loose seed with Texas wind. The feeder itself had no sharp edges, the door needed force to open and close which is good and i like the coating that makes it smooth seems comfortable for birds. Now we just wait to see if any birds use it, it could be where i have it hanging, could be i need to bring the chain down and make it more loose (but again the wind can be nuts) or it could be they just haven't realized it's there yet.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this feeder deserves one. Right out of the box it feels solid and well-made — not that flimsy, thin-metal junk you often see. The green finish looks clean in the yard and hasn’t faded or scratched yet. Installation was straightforward, and it holds any standard 12-oz suet cake without a fight. More importantly, birds are using it regularly. It does exactly what it’s supposed to: stays up, keeps the suet in place, and gives the birds a stable spot to feed. No fancy bells or whistles here. Just a sturdy, no-nonsense feeder that clearly will last and does its job day in, day out.

Very excited for this bird feeder. I struggle to get a lot of these designed ones open, but found this one easier than most. Don’t think the squirrels will be breaking

Great for suet!
This works great with the suet blocks. Plent of room for birds to share until the last bit. We use this all year long. It is sturdy and holds up in heavy wind
