By Bill on Aug 25, 2021

Good product, go through 1 every other day. Easier to buy a bulk quantity at one time.

I tried this brand for the first time and the birds love it , I gave it a 3 star cause the cake is greasy to handle. other than that it's good.

    Not worth it

By Mitch on Mar 15, 2021

I had previously purchased C&S Woodpecker Delight suet for use in my feeders and it was incredibly popular with my bird population, but the price seemed a little high and I bought this instead to save a few bucks. The 2 blocks I put out have barely been touched after 2 weeks. Like maybe a corner was sampled a few times. In comparison, a pair of C&S blocks was gone within 8 days. I haven't seen a single woodpecker since I switched over to the Heath brand either, so I really don't think I'll be buying this again. Maybe purchase if you don't really care what you see in your yard, or if your birds aren't particularly picky?

    Great for all species!

By SarahBeth on Apr 5, 2021

I had just switched to this kind of suet, and 2 days later I saw my first pileated woodpecker! I still see the regularly Downy, red-bellied, and hairy woodpeckers as well.. So exciting! I will not be switching back lol

    Downy food

By suet on Jun 26, 2021

My small woodpeckers and Wrens love this food. Gackles and squirrels like to take it over.

My birds aren't interested in this.

By OhioKitties on Jan 11, 2021

The birds that come to my back deck suet feeders are exactly the ones listed on the package for this suet. I decided to try this because the variety I usually buy was out of stock. Unfortunately, while I normally have many woodpeckers flocking to eat suet....now I have almost none. All of the woodpeckers are now trying to eat out of the regular bird feeders.....which is causing it's own set of issues. Maybe things will change in time....we'll see.

    So Many Woodpeckers

By Henry on Nov 12, 2020

We've been hearing woodpeckers on our property since we moved in a few months ago, but could never spot them. We got a suet feeder designed for woodpeckers and bought these premium suet cakes. We now have 3 different types of woodpeckers feeding off this feeder. They really love the seeds. These are the cakes I'll be getting from now on.

    The Woodpeckers Are Happy!

By Purplehorse on Nov 28, 2020

Within minutes of dropping one of these cakes into the feeder the woodpeckers arrived, went crazy on them and have come back every day, many times a day to devour them! I'll definitely add them to my automatic shipment!
