I can’t believe there is a food that is so perfect for my collie. She has sensitivity to chicken but does well on lamb. The vet wanted her on a lower fat food. Bingo! This is perfect. I do need to add a topper for her and found Stella & Chewy lamb stew with just 2% fat. So much of health is dependent on diet and this is working so well for her.
Beau was put on a diet because he was 150 pounds. The vet said because at his age (6) it’s not helping his joints as he is getting arthritis. We got this food with the hills topper wet food and I mix it with his food. He goes nuts for this!!! I’ve never seen him eat his food so well!!!
I had to change where I get this prescription food. I was in danger of running out, but entered my new president into the Chewy website and explained my predicament. I got the dog food the next day. Can’t beat that.
My dog absolutely loves this food. She has a chicken allergy, and it is difficult to find "diet" food without chicken. We have been working hard to lose weight, and this food is keeping her in check. SO happy I found it.
Got this for my dogs to lose weight but my dogs have so many allergies they have been licking their paws excessively so back to their old food I guess
This was recommended by a vet because my pup was trained on cheese and hot dogs and the extra weight sneakily piled on. She really enjoys this food without the supplemental chicken or ground beef I used to feed with her regular kibble. And the volume is almost double that kibble for the same calories. Good stuff!!
This food made my dog sick. It cost me $653 in vet fees. After I paid for the expensive food. She was sick for 11 days because of it.
My vet advised we use this - and I will be having a word with her. I trusted she knew what she was doing. I didn't read the ingredients, just bought it. I was doing the small bag and it was going ok so decided to do the large bag. She won't eat it and she is acting ill. I am moving her off of it back to her old food and will find something else low calorie to help her with her weight. She is chewing on her paws. I looked at the ingedients and it is pure garbage in this food. Dog Food Adviser won't touch a review but they flag all of the questionnable ingredients. $90 out for garbage food.
