What is the recommended portion of perfect weight canned food per day?
Answer by • Oct 05, 2018
Since each cat has different dietary needs, it's best to adjust feeding amounts as necessary to maintain optimal weight. If you are unsure how much you should be feeding them, we recommend asking your veterinarian.
What is the phosphorus mg per 100 kcal?
Answer by • May 21, 2020
This formula has approximately 865.56 milligrams of phosphorus per 100 calories.
I’m glad Hill’s started producing these pates again. My cat likes the stew perfect weight food okay, but got bored of it. She seems to love this one much more and has not gotten bored of it at all. Much easier to keep her on her diet with these.
Hill’s does need to make it more clear which foods are pates though; this is a common complaint with every pate food they make. If a Hill’s food shows a “crumbled” texture like this on the front with no visible veggies: it’s a pate. The pictures are misleading.

Finicky Cat
Azure eats Hills Science Diet kitten food mixed with Adult kibble. She smelled the canned food, turned, and acted like she does after a bowel movement. Tried to cover it with dirt that was not there. I’ve tried all different kids of canned/wet food. She refuses all of them.

Not Labeled Properly
I didn't know this was pate until I opened the first can. Nowhere in the description of this is the word pate listed. When I called the customer service, they were incredibly accommodating, but I would have preferred not to get a food neither I nor my cats can stand in the first place. When I complained about the lack of labeling, the suggestion from customer service was "look at the picture." This picture does not look like pate. It looks textured, which pate most definitely is not.

Quality has gotten worse - not even a pate anymore
I fed this to my cat for a year with no issue. It was a typical pâté cat food. It has gotten runnier and runnier this past year, however this last batch is just liquid. It shouldn’t even be labeled as a pate. I’m not sure what’s going wrong. It doesn’t seem like it’s a formula change because every so often I get a batch that’s actually a solid pate consistency ... not a liquidy/mushy mess in a can. This last batch is the final straw. I’ll have to find something else.

Yummy in my tummy.
Who has some in stock? He loves his Hill's Science Diet, perfect weight. He wants his chicken and liver flavor in his bowl.

If you can get past the smell...
I have two cats. One of my cats started eating this immediately whereas the other one took a few days of trying it. I’ve used wet dog and cat food before but have never smelt something quite so offensive as this; however, now that both cats are eating it, I can’t complain. I just make sure I don’t breathe in while I’m spooning it into their dishes. :) Hoping it helps some with weight loss!

My cats all eat it!
Three of my cats have been eating the chicken and vegetable variety but since it was out of stock I ordered the liver and chicken. They all ate it with no problems.

Hill's Science Diet not a favorite
Love Chewy but this is the second Hill's Diet I have gotten for my cat with heart problems that he won't eat. I try to put gravy and mix with another food but no one eats it, not even the "youngsters" who eat almost everything.
It is not Chewy's fault that the doctor-recommended foods are not very tasty. I have been fine with the meds I've gotten for him and another cat and other products.
