We are trying the chicken stew flavor for our cats. They both love it! The amount of gravy and the size of the meat and veggies are what they like, the are not big

We are trying the chicken stew flavor for our cats. They both love it! The amount of gravy and the size of the meat and veggies are what they like, the are not big chunks. If the meat is too big they tend to lick the gravy and leave most of the meat behind but they will clean their bowls when we give them this. That makes weight management much easier when you know they are finishing a proper serving. I do prefer canned instead of pouches just because I feel like it is easier to get all the food out but pouches are much lighter and easier to store so it’s probably a push as far as packaging goes. Overall great food the cats love!

I have been feeding my dogs and cats Hills Science Diet dry and wet food for years. The ingredients are premium and my animals always enjoy their meals. This chicken stew wet food has small pieces of tender chicken, easy for my cats at chew along with vegetable bites and rice that they clearly enjoy because the plates are always clean! The pouch is super convenient leaving no mess or scraping a can to get all of the product out. I will continue to buy these delicious pouches for my cats!

I don’t use wet food as part of her everyday diet, but rather as a special treat. My girl was very excited to try it and gobbled up most of it right away. It looks just like the picture except for a little extra gravy which is perfect! To me, the best part about this cat food was it doesn’t smell as bad as most other wet cat food I’ve been around. It could be because of the flavor, not being fish, but it seems much less nasally assaulting than other chicken flavors of wet food I’ve given my girl-so for someone with a really sensitive smeller, I consider that a win! Was nice and easy to open and not much mess. No need to dirty utensils getting it out of the container. Only drawback to pouch style would be if you’re not wanting to give the whole pouch at one time, but I guess simply storing it upright in a ziplock bag would do the trick. All around A+ wet cat food. Kitty loves it and it doesn’t smell terribly like some other wet cat foods.

I have two 8-year-old totally indoor cats, rescued as kittens. They are healthy, and healthy weight, but need more moisture in their diet. They normally only get kibble, so they should have been thrilled with moist food. They are fairly active, since they are constantly running from three Borzoi dog roommates. I gave them each a dish with a packet of cat food. They each eagerly sipped the gravy, and left the solids (see photo). I will keep giving the cats the moist food, and see if they come to like it. If not, the dogs love it. I HATE the folded bottom packets, which are probably because the food is samples. Squeezing all the food out is time-consuming. I started cutting the packets across the bottom (instead of the top) to get all the gravy out, since that's what my cats ate. Maybe try grinding the food contents into more gravy-like?

This is the 2nd type of food from Hill’s that my cat will not eat. And his nickname is Mikey cause there isn’t much he won’t eat! My other cat seemed interested but ultimately did not want to eat it either. To be honest, it looked pretty appetizing. There was chunks of meat, carrots and rice that I could see. I love Hill’s and I have trusted the brand for years! This particular food just missed the mark with my kitties. (doesn’t mean it won’t work for yours) so if this was recommended to you by your vet, I would still give it a try!

She liked it a lot and had no problems eating it but it didn’t stay down. I think this is a problem for my cat and not any issue with the food. She ate it without hesitance.
