Questions & Answers

2 Customer Questions

how long can this be refrigerated for? usually wet food is 3-4 days right?
Answer by ChewySep 07, 2021
Your pet’s bowl should be emptied of moist or canned food not eaten by your cat or dog within 4 hours if the ambient temperature is above 50°F. Opened cans or pouches should be stored in the fridge, at temperatures between 40-45°F, for a maximum of 5-7 days. Any cat or dog food remaining after that time should be thrown out.

Is this grain free?
Answer by ChewyJun 25, 2022
This recipe is grain inclusive.

Kittens opinion

My kitten loved the water from the food but couldn’t figure out how to bite the cubes. The cubes I feel are too big for his age. We found him on an intersection so we don’t know how old he is now but he is probably around 7 weeks now. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because it’s not for kittens of all age.

Yummy in their tummy

Love how it holds the same amount as the cans and less bulky not to mentions more ecofriendly. Makes it easy to pack for travel and easy to squeeze out the juices for all my cats to enjoy it to the max.

Kittens love this moist food

Our 3 month old girls love this wet food to eat in conjunction with their Hills dry kitten food.

My babies loved it!

I wasn’t sure if my cats would like Hill’s Science Diet Kitten Tender Chicken food at first or not. They didn’t want to eat it like it was right out of the pouch. I had to mash it up a little for them then they gobbled it down! They loved the gravy on it. I did receive this as a free sample. My opinions are true and my own.

Hill's Science Diet for the Win

We received a free sample of Hill's Science Diet Kitten Tender Chicken Recipe Cat Food, 2.8-oz pouch. I was a little skeptical at first because Oreo is a picky eater. She only likes certain foods and certain textures. When I opened the pouch she came running. She almost didn't let me even put it in her bowl. Now she is normally a fast eater but, literally she ate the whole pouch in less than a minute. She looked around like is there anymore? I do believe we have a winner. Thank you Hill's Science Diet.

Kitten loved it!

I received a free sample of Hill's Science Diet Kitten Tender Chicken Recipe Cat Food, 2.8-oz pouches in exchange for my honest review. I fed these to my kitten as a special meal. He loved them and enjoyed the whole thing, especially the liquid. Overall he enjoyed them and I enjoy the convenience of the pouch.

Lots of purrs and rubs after

My kitten really likes the Hills Science Diet Kitten Tender Chicken! After trying the first time, she was hooked. Other kinds of foods she would eat but pick at it. That’s not typical for a kitten. This food she loves and will finish all of. And I get extra snuggles and purrs after she eats every time.

Tasty enough for picky eaters

I received a free sample of Hill's Science Diet Tender Chicken Dinner for kittens in exchange for my honest review. This was a huge hit with all four rescue kittens who got to try it. They tend to be a little picky, and sometimes leave some (or even a lot) of their wet food, but there was nothing left this time. Even the cat who tends to prefer dry food ate this. There's really nothing bad to say about the food itself. I definitely needed a spoon to make sure I got all of it out of the package though. Some tends to get hung up on the bottom folds and this isn't a product to waste! I would certainly consider buying this in the future.

My Kitty was MEH about it

My kitten tried the free sample of the Hill's Science Diet Tender Chicken Dinner I received as a free sample. She was MEH about it. She tried a little but generally left most of it for her brother to eat. He gobbled it up, but he normally does not get wet food (he's 3, not a kitten, and fat). I might buy this but overall, she left most of it and ate dry food. She is very fussy, so I do not take her opinion to heart. Her brother loved it, so I am recommending it.

Kitten Recipe

Extremely expensive for that amount of food.
