Poor quality control and reliability

I had purchased 2 boxes of these which worked fine. The 3rd box however was full of completely defective bags. They just completely come apart at the side seams

I had purchased 2 boxes of these which worked fine. The 3rd box however was full of completely defective bags. They just completely come apart at the side seams as soon as you detatch them from the rest of the roll, and are completely unusable as actual bags. I kept trying bags from every roll in the box and they all were defective in this manner.

I always felt bad adding to the plastics problem with the old bags. These are easy to open and are strong if you use them within 6 months. I did find that they

I always felt bad adding to the plastics problem with the old bags. These are easy to open and are strong if you use them within 6 months. I did find that they degrade if you wait closer to a year. I don’t consider that a negative but a sign that I’m getting what I paid for. It would be nice if they came in a darker color. We all know what’s in there but it would be nice not to see it so readily. Not a complaint just a preference.

I really wanted to like these bags because they’re obviously better for the environment but they literally rip apart with anything. We’ve tried opening them softly

Really liked them!

These bags are so easy to use, I use it for my cat's wastes and it doesn't break. Also it a huge plus that they are compostable. We are helping the environment.

I’m not exaggerating when I say literally every bag breaks. We’ve used several brands of compostable bags in the past and these do not work. Will not buy again.
