I have not tried any other pill holding product so I don't have anything to compare. However, this product is clean and my dog loves them. I am able to put aspirin in it and he eats it without spitting it out, as he does with bread and peanut butter rapped around them.

My dog loves these! He takes a lot of pills for a heart condition, and these make pill time fun time. They are soft and easily form around the pill unlike some other brands.
Excellent for Hiding Medication
on Mar 18, 2020
I did not think these would work to hide my dogs pills in as I loved using the pill pockets, however due to my one dog developing allergies, I no longer could use the old pill pockets that I had been using. I was super impressed with these. All I did was mold the Pill Pops around my dog's pills or just push them in the pops, they are super easy to use. I like that they are individually wrapped as if I don't use the whole pop, I put the extra Pill Pop in a snack baggie and put it back into the Pill Pop bag. No waste and it still stays moist.
My picky dog loves them!

My dog hates taking her pills and can smell them a mile away so when putting them in bologna stopped working I was worried about what would work. I had tried Greenies but she snubbed her nose at them. I had tried a couple flavors and the peanut butter she seemed to like but she literally spit the pills out and ate the treat. Needless to say I was not hopeful when I tried these but I hated shoving pills down her throat. Instantly she liked them. I don’t like the packaging- there’s 2 per shrink-wrap and I find it difficult to tear open. :( otherwise, if Al likes them then I’ll keep buying them!
My dog loves them!

I bought these because Greenies changed the formula of the grain free pill pockets for the worse and they are now discontinuing them. Now, Zoe's isn't completely grain free but is minus the main ones. The best part is he loves the flavor and they are very easy to split and mold around any pills. They are individually wrapped in two packs for softness, which is probably unnecessary and kinda a pain. Overall, these are a great alternative!
Loved it Except for...

Totally environmentally irresponsible packaging. Which is a shame because I have a dog allergic to chicken and she LOVES these (hiding her allergy medication). However, I didn't realize they were individually wrapped and now I have a bunch of trash that I'm tossing into the oceans... They were moist, they smelled like real food, they worked GREAT to hide pills, and I really wish I could support this company, but perhaps they can work on using recyclable plastics in the future, maybe a cannister instead? Also 20 isn't a lot when I am giving 3 dogs medicine twice daily. Maybe a LARGE cannister of like 120? Otherwise I loved the product, just maybe think of the turtles!!!

Each pill is individually wrapped which at first seemed excessive packaging. However, each pill remains soft and intact without breaking apart into pieces in the package. Other brands I have used leave lots of crumbs in the bottom of the bag. No waste of product.

Should have read the reviews

My dogs refuse to eat these pill pops. Other reviewers said the same but I did not take their warning. They come wrapped in sets of two so I tried giving one with the pill and the other as a treat. My dog spit out the one with the pill and refused the treat.
Good for Treats, Not so Good for Pills
on Dec 13, 2019
My 3 dogs really enjoy the taste of these pill pops, and they smell really good too. The problem is that they are not very soft, and I personally have a hard time molding them around my dog's pills without them cracking or crumbling. I would rather buy Greenies Pill Pockets, which are super squishy and easy to form around any size pill or capsule.
