    Didn't work for my cat

By Christine on Nov 10, 2021

I got this from a local pet shop and went through 3 bottles, and my cat's recent check-up showed severe dental decay in 3 teeth. :( Earlier in the year I was told he had the beginnings of gingivitis, but since he also has a heart condition we had to wait until the cardiologist cleared him for a dental procedure. During that time I was praying this would help, as I have had very good luck with other HomeoPet products. I'm super bummed this didn't help, and that a few of his teeth got worse. I added it to a little bit of wet food and made sure he licked the bowl clean each time, but maybe it would have been more effective applying it right to his gums. Not sur eif it works but cat doesn't mind it

By stefff on Nov 11, 2021

I put it in the water and both cats drink the water with no issues. I may put it in the food, though. I use a pet fountain so am not sure how much to use. I hope it's helping!

    General Fan of HomeoPet

    By Leah380 on Mar 16, 2021

I have a bunch of HomeoPet's supplement drops. My FIV+ cat has dental issues, as they are wont to do, so until his full mouth extraction I decided to add these to his food. He does not notice them in his breakfast, hence the 4-stars. Do they work? I don't know. But I have used some of their other supplements that did help my cat at times, so I decided to give it a shot.

    Seems to be working

    By AmandaK on Dec 28, 2020 top500Contributor

I have a cat with gingivitis. He gets to where it’s too painful for him to eat. When he has a flare up he has to go to the vet for antibiotic and steroid injections. I have been giving him this supplement daily and I feel like it’s helping him. Only time will tell but it’s been longer than usual since he’s had to go to the doctor.

    Alcohol! and No Noticeable Results

    By 3CatHome on Oct 7, 2020

We have had success with homeopathic remedies in the past, but this did not seem to help our kitties. Unfortunately, it was prepared with alcohol which Chewy does not list in the ingredients section. Our cats did not take well to it being applied directly in their mouths, so we were including it with food twice a day after letting the alcohol evaporate for 20 minutes. This may have impacted its effectiveness, but it was the best we could do. After dosing all three cats for about 2.5 weeks, the bottle is almost gone, and I will not be buying another one. At first I thought the smell of their breath was improving, but it didn't last. Definitely Recommend

By Kendra on Sep 13, 2020

I originally had a similar product in my cart just a different brand but after reading reviews, I decided to go with this brand & I’m extremely happy I did. I got it mainly for my cats awful breath. Received it today & already got it in his water, which he didn’t mind. The best part, the product has already worked & his breath barely has a smell! 10/10

    Seems to Work

By CatMom on Aug 9, 2020

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is that I won’t know if this truly works until my cat’s next vet exam, but it seems to; his breath is certainly improved. I used to brush his teeth daily, but as he’s gotten older he’s gotten more grumpy with me fussing over his hygiene, and I just got tired of having to chase him down and feel like he hates me for doing it. After reading how to administer this i decided the put the allotted drops in a trace of food on a spoon. No problem! Just to see what would happen, in a few days I tried just putting the drops on a spoon; he licked it right up. Now he comes to me twice a day and “asks” for his drops, so it sure couldn’t be easier.

    Bye bye gingivitis!

By Alexis on Aug 10, 2020

When I adopted my little girl she had severe gingivitis. I paired this with brushing her teeth daily (which she loves now!) and her teeth are in great condition. Her gingivitis was gone in two weeks and won’t be coming back thanks to this!

My cat seems to be out of pain now!

By KatieSue on Apr 15, 2020

We have a 3 yr old white siamese cat (Olaf) who is a survivor of FIP which he got at 7 months old after we had tried to adopt him out. When the emergency vet said he would die like his brothers, We took to researching natural remedies and nursed him (and his remaining sisters) back to health over the next 3 months using Homeopets Natural products like Liver Rescue and Nose Relief, as well as some vitamins. A couple months after his recovery, we noticed he seemed to be in pain when eating, and he started losing weight again. Our "more friendly vet" said he was surprised that such a young cat would have gingivitis, but that's the symptoms he was seeing. We could not afford another big vet bill, so once again, I took to researching natural remedies. We have tried numerous things, various dental chews, Petlab dental wash, feeding only soft foods... we have succeeded only in keeping him happy, loved and barely eating, but he has always been sensitive around the mouth, and still hasnt gained all his weight back. Last week, I found Pet Dental, another product by Homeopet. I just had to try it for Olaf's sake. Olaf has now been on Purr Dental for about a week, and for the first time last night, he was playfully biting me! He rubbed his whiskers against my hand for a massage, and didn't flinch when I pet his face! For the first time in 2 years, he does not appear to be in pain!! I'm still watching to see his tummy fill out, but he is eating more at a time now, so there is hope!! I believe that Purr Dental is the miracle our little Olaf has needed for a long time, and am so very glad I finally found it!! Looking forward to more great results! Thank you, HomeoPet and Chewy!! … more
