Not Quite...

My dog liked the food. However, it's not the easier to open. It's also watery, which means it gets it my Shih Tzu's facial hair, and makes a mess. I prefer a solid pate style dog food so it won't so easily get in my dog's mustache and beard.

Great ingredients, terrible packaging for the planet

I have used Honest Kitchen for years. My very picky yorkipoo enjoys this food and does well on it. The problem I have is with the packaging, which cannot be recycled. It is basically in a small box lined with foil. A can is recyclable. Foil lined cardboard is not. Please Honest Kitchen, think of the environment. Even if this is more cost effective to ship, package it in cans. All you can do is throw the box away and if you care about the environment, this is a no win deal.

I’ve had a hard time getting my dog to eat after her health issues started. She eats this food more readily than anything I’ve tried in a while, even though it’s still a challenge. I feel like it’s good quality, but I only gave it four stars because there’s not much food in a box. Therefore, it is expensive and doesn’t last very long.
