Does this product require to be refrigerated after opening?

Doesn't the process of pasteurization kill all of the probiotics in the milk? This is a marketing tactic for selling raw goat's milk. a pet store in town said raw goat's milk has all of the probiotics but pasteurized goat's milk does not.
Answer by ChewyJul 14, 2020
As The Honest Kitchen are a 100% Human Grade company, they can't sell raw goats milk as it does not adhere to FDA regulation. After the milk is pasteurized, they add back in the 5 billion CFU of probiotics and digestive enzymes.

Can you sprinkle this on the dog's food, instead of adding it to water?
Answer by ChewyJun 16, 2017
In order to get the full nutritional value of the instant Goat's Milk, it's best to follow feeding instructions.

Can I freeze it into a ice cube?
Answer by ChewyMay 16, 2022
The Instant Goat's Milk can be frozen. You can even add in some berries or pet friendly peanut butter, and your pet will have a delectable treat on hot summer days.

LOVE this!

Cannot say enough good things about this product!! My girl was on an antibiotic to clear up an infection and I wanted to get her digestive system and good bacteria back in order, so we opted for this. Much easier to keep on hand and travel with because you don’t have to worry about keeping it cold/expiring, and my girl loves the taste! I noticed her digestion is a lot more regular too. A win win!

Very pleased

I am using this with my pups food to moisten it. I use it just once a day and she has no digestive issues. She is enjoying it. I can make it and store what she is not using in the fridge for a day as well. I will continue to buy it as she grows. I also used this when my senior dog was in very poor health to get her to take in some hydration.

Absolutely love it

My dog loves this addition to her kibble. I originally was letting the kibble soak in the water + goat milk powder mixture, and she wasn't the greatest fan. Well, next time, I gave her the food right after I prepared it without letting it soak and she loved it! She likes to the drink goat milk/water before it gets fully absorbed into the kibble, it's always the first she does when she gets ready to eat. Then she licks the bowl after!! She loves it. Oh and by the way if you really wanna boost the flavor for your pup, mix this not with water but with bone broth.

My dog loves this!

My dog just had a litter of puppies and is not able to eat hard food yet, but absolutely loves this goat milk! It seems to give her energy and good health.

Can't tell if my dog likes it because his kibbles are also new

My Havanese didn't seem to go crazy for this Goat's Milk mixed with his kibbles. The kibbles are also new to him too. So I can't tell whether he doesn't like the Goat's Milk or the kibbles. He's just not crazy for it and walks away most of the time and will eat it only when we won't give him anything else and he's really hungry. I got this for him as a probiotic to help with his yeast infection on his paws. I also switched to the honest kitchen's limited ingredients food but he doesn't seem to care for it. Will try for another month and finish the products that I bought from "the honest kitchen".

wonderful product

Both my girls like this on it’s own as a liquid treat but only one cat will eat it mixed in food, the other won’t touch her food if I mix it in hers

Yes yes yes!!

I genuinely love this supplement because it’s so easy to keep for longer than a week or two like most goats milk. I’ve also noticed that when buying regular goats milk vs this powder, this supplement lasts us MUCH longer between purchases. It makes way more than you get in a carton and our dogs and cats LOVE IT, not to mention since we’ve started using this (among other food and protein sources) our dogs fur has become INCREDIBLY soft. 10/10 I recommend this product to anyone with pets!!

Dogs love it

My two dachshunds love this goat's milk. One of them is a very picky eater and adding a bit of this to her dinner means she excitedly gobbles her meal. My dogs already have probiotics in their diet so hard to say if the additional probiotics in this are making a big difference in their digestion, but I will definitely buy this product again because it's so easy to keep around, easy to use, and they love eating it.

Supplement for kittens

Not as good as the ready made goats milk. I have just sprinkled on moms food for a little extra in between trips to the store. Powder is much cheaper than the ready made.

Dogs LOVE it

I've got french bulldogs who tend to have more sensitive stomachs and skin. I try to avoid all "feathered" sources of protein and also wanted to add in another source of healthy nutrients as a supplement to their regular food. I decided to try this goats milk since it also adds extra moisture to their feeding routine. I use the same cup to mix it up every time and when my dogs see the cup come out they go NUTS and cannot wait to be fed. That alone is reason enough for me to keep buying this for them.
