I mix this with the herbal digestion from the honest kitchen and their wet food and they come running and will try to climb up me to get it when I’m making it. It’s very palatable and helped my smaller kitten to put some weight on which he needed. A great product for sure ٩(^‿^)۶
Prefers mixed into food
on Sep 17, 2020
I bought this because I was tired of opening thawed brand new bottles of sour goat milk. $$$ I was making golden milk with the raw goats milk which is the only thing that seems to soothe his itching.
But my dog isn't keen on this mix wet as part of golden milk. So I have been using dry.
Two out of three times if I mix into his wet food he will eat it. That one off, he won't touch it. I am not sure if it is as beneficial dry. He is still itching and yeasty...
This Is Great

My dog has done a turnaround with eating and cleaning his bowl. I purchased to add probiotics to his diet and he is more energetic, playful and his potty business lots more normal. I did cut down on amount of kibble some to compensate for goat milk.
cats like it \\\\\\
on Oct 6, 2020
The cats like this poured over canned food. It also warms up breakfast for them.
I don't like the smell much, it reminds me of soy based baby formula.
But all three cats lap it up.
I've considered using it to soften dry food as well, but haven't tried that yet.
Solid product IMO

Currently giving to my cat a few times/wk but the dogs enjoy it too. I find it very convenient and easy to mix, especially for rehydrating HK food. Could be a 5 star product if they would make in a larger size = better value.
Even better than expected

Wow!! I bought this on a whim, because I read that goat milk is good for dogs and because the price was affordable. I’ve been giving it almost daily to my 5 month old golden doodle. I notice after he drinks/eats it, he becomes so calm!! Sometimes he even takes a nap. His poops have also become regular and firm, which we were having an issue with. He rarely will drink the whole serving unless I add food—so I mix in his freeze dried food into it in the mornings. Every drop gone!
Good in theory but didn't work for us

My cat was recently diagnosed with IBD and prescribed supplemental probiotics. I tried this as a second source of probiitics and stupidly bought the value option because we have six cats. Only one - and not the cat with IBD - tried it and even then just a few licks. It separates quickly. I am going to give this to a colleague who fosters kittens and dogs for the local shelter. Can't recommend and won't repurchase.
Jury still out in this

I love Honest Kitchen but only one of my cats will drink this (gingerly). Prior to this I was mixing goats milk with plain yogurt to give my cats their dairy fix. I may go back to that as this could get pricey on a daily basis.

I was happy to be able find goats milk to feed my dogs. I feel that it’s too thin/watery when made as directed.
My dogs loved it though, so I will continue to buy it.
Sad it didn't work out.

I would like to start off by saying my dog loves goat milk. I got the individually packaged one since figured they would last longer but for some reason he didn't care for these. He took a sniff and walked away. Now, I don't think there is anything wrong with the product but it just didn't work out for my dog which was disappointing considering the price. I will be sticking to the goat milk from grocery stores.
