love the food, not the packaging

My cats really like this food, and I like that the ingredients are good. Also the packaging is clever. Seems like a lower ecological footprint, which is good. However, it's too deep for a regular spoon or fork. I get food on my hands every time I try to get the last of the contents out. I hope they change it to more like those school milk cartons when I was a kid - short and boxy. Then I'll buy it again, but until then I've taken it off my list.

My animals love everything from honest kitchen but... this cate. My cat is completely disinterested in this food and won't eat it. It is almost scentless which was surprising when I first opened it.

Wet Seafood

My cats liked this food. Ordered box by mistake. Hard to get open, even harder to get contents out of box. Mess. But, like I said, my cats enjoyed the food, and that's what matters the most.

Not smooth

I love honest kitchen human grade food. Unfortunately my cretins fooled me again. They ate the food twice, then rejected. I would have given a higher rating if the description was a bit more accurate. The food is slightly chunky and not smooth. Darn finicky cretins.

Good, clean product

This is a good, clean, quality product. Initially, my cats loved it. Unfortunately, now my cats just turn their noses up and walk away from it. That’s why I deducted a star, but that’s no fault of the product itself. The Honest Kitchen is one of those quality brands you can feel good about feeding your cats, so don’t let my cats have the ultimate say. I’d definitely give it a try for your cats.

Maybe for your cat

I was looking for a chicken and chicken by product free meal that was affordable for my cat. This seemed perfect; it was within budget and the idea of human grade food sounded great. Unfortunately, she didn't touch it after the first meal. Hopefully it will work for your feline friend.

Wish they sold more than packs of 12

Both my cats IMMEDIATELY devoured it. I reordered it before they ran out because it’s their new favorite! I feed it in between their dry food meals a couple times a day & it’s my new favorite cat food! The ingredients are all INCREDIBLE. Everything about this food is just amazing, im going to have to try the other flavors next for them

Very Appealing to Cats

This whole series from the honest kitchen is very high quality and, apparently, very appealing to cats. The Cate is good for cats who may have dental issues; the minced version has ground up chunks in it.

My Cats Love It

We previously tried the dehydrated cat food from Honest Kitchen but my cats just weren't into it. This stuff, they love!! Thanks for making this! Honest Kitchen is such a great company and I feel good knowing this food is healthy for my cats.
