The Honest Kitchen sources most of its ingredients in the USA. No ingredients come from China. They source basil and marjoram in Africa. Sweet potatoes, organic quinoa, apples, organic chia seeds, and pumpkin from South America. Bananas, organic coconuts, and papaya come from Asia. All other ingredi ents are either sourced from the USA or Europe.

Can I feed one formula in the morning and a different one in the evening? or do all the proteins on a rotation??

Is dehydrated food raw food or cooked food?

In dehydrated pet foods brands will use a commercial dehydrator to add low heat for long periods of time to evaporate the water (moisture) from their ingredients. These particular diets are meant to be rehydrated for best nutritional results. Although the food is lightly cooked, it's not considered cooked due to it's nutritional values but it's depending on the brand it may claim that it's close to raw feeding (this doesn't mean it is).

Our rescue (corgi) disliked this food with a passion that she would skip her meals. I mixed it with Brutus Bone pork broth in the beginning. She ate it the first

Our rescue (corgi) disliked this food with a passion that she would skip her meals. I mixed it with Brutus Bone pork broth in the beginning. She ate it the first day or 2, then after that, meal times were so challenging and stressful because she refused to eat it. We also tried rehydrating it with The Honest Kitchen beef bone broth but also did not work. After trying our best, I ended up requesting a refund for the item. Maybe our dog is just super picky. We had to switch her back to Just Food For Dogs frozen food (she only likes a few flavors). That was the food she was being fed when she was at the senior rescue.

Dogs love it

Tried feeding raw but my 9 yo corgi's digestive system couldn't handle it. Switched to this Grain free turkey and soon her digestion settled right down. No more

My dog hesitated at first maybe because I stirred in warm water to rehydrate this food and it was different then what they normally receive. But once they tasted it they gobbled it up I like the fact it has good clean ingredients AND being dehydrated it can be stored for a very long time in case something hits the fan and dog food gets hard to get thru the mail.

I was a bit apprehensive about dehydrated dog food ...but we needed a different food then just raw, cause our girls was getting picky and the raw kept going bad

I was a bit apprehensive about dehydrated dog food ...but we needed a different food then just raw, cause our girls was getting picky and the raw kept going bad. Now we do 4 days raw and 3 days of this food and she loves it. It took some adjustment and sometimes we still have to add a piece of dried liver or sprinkle colostrum, but it's worth it for how good this food seems to be for her. Her itching is less and her stools are firmer.

Our girl (14yr old GS) loves this food. Along with a certain daily supplement and this food, her digestion is improved and it has helped reduce her inflammation

Our girl (14yr old GS) loves this food. Along with a certain daily supplement and this food, her digestion is improved and it has helped reduce her inflammation. With other high heat cooked wet foods she had chronic itching, ear fungus, bowel irregularities, “the vapors” and frito feet. Now she rarely itches and all of the above is no longer plaguing her. Grateful to have this product! Our Girl feels so much better!
