Keep fresh drinking water available at all times, see your veterinarian regularly.
When switching your dog from another food, transition your food over 6 days by mixing the original food with an increasing proportion of Horizon Pulsar until the last day when you can stop mixing.
It may not be the food itself, my dog is a picky eater, he won't touch it even when mixed with wet can food. On to try the next.
My dogs weigh 15 pounds. The kibble was too big for them to chew so I have to crush it up and I also add a little water but it's absolutely worth it to me because they're obsessed. Two paws up!!
My dog (Zac) seems to get bored with his dog food after a short time. I love this dog food because it is very highly rated by DogFoodAdvisor, it is reasonably priced for a high quality dog food, and it has many flavours that can be switched up without the usual “mixing” of old and new because the grain-free recipe is essentially the same and only the meat changes. My dog is very finicky and I have finally discovered that adding a little water to this makes him gobble it up — something he has never done with any other of the dozens of foods I’ve tried!
I should have read the ingredients a little closer before ordering.
Love Horizon pet food. Recently switched to lower protein content due to potential kidney issues. My 2 GSD love it just as much as the Legacy and are doing well on it. They love the flavor and their stools are good and regular.
My dog Drake seems to love his new food, although I've been mixing it with his former dog food brand still until it runs out. He's only been eating the new dog food a week or so. He seems to have more energy, wags his tail all the time, is friendlier & more lovable than ever & seems very happy. I am excited to stick with this new dog food product & see how it improves the quality of life for my best buddy Drakey, which improves life for both of us.
Heard this is good food from a nutrition consult. Dogs like it so far
We have used this product for years and our dogs are very healthy and spry. They like the flavor and eat happily.
My Nellie loves her chicken from Horizon. This is the only brand of food that she will eat...
I was so glad to see that Chewy carries this dog food, it's one of the only kibbles I've found that my dog really likes, and it's a wholesome dog food. Thanks Chewy!
