I bought this for my German Shepherd (female about 65 pounds) and within a matter of minutes she had broken off 2 sharp pieces each about 2 inches long. Thankfully

I bought this for my German Shepherd (female about 65 pounds) and within a matter of minutes she had broken off 2 sharp pieces each about 2 inches long. Thankfully I got them before she swallowed them. I'm sure they could have punctured her intestines. If your dog has a strong bite I would not recommend this product.

I would not recommend this bone unless you are supervising your dog. Our small to medium sized dog worked on chewing it for a handful of days and a nice sized shard
