Disclaimer, all dog toys/chews that enter my home have to be sized for my 170 pound male Great Dane. Obviously, the dogs share everything. So, if it isn't safe for him, then no one can play. I purchased two two packs for my two Labrador mixes, Great Dane and my German Shepherd (grand pup). Neither of the packages actually say XL. The length seems to be approximately 8 to 9" as indicated on product description, base diameter is okay, end diameter gets a little iffy on at least half of them. I am concerned about the diameters, as the product that I usually buy is wider.
