Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Bend or twist for crackle sound. Toss and retrieve. Ideal for indoor and outdoor play.

I am Cassie, a 24-pound, 16-month-old Springer Doodle who loves to see a Chewy delivery. Really, I love any delivery of a box! I was even more delighted to see this order contained a toy for me as I haven’t had any new toys for awhile now. The pink Kong Crackle Bone was bouncy and interactive. At first I wasn’t sharing the toy with Mom, but eventually she was able to throw the bone for me to retrieve. When Mom got tired of playing, I settled down to gnaw on my new Kong. Before I knew what was happening, Mom had her finger in my mouth, digging out a piece of pink plastic. She got the plastic out of my mouth and took my new Kong Crackle Bone. I haven’t seen it since then. All I know is I don’t have a new toy to play with although I keep sniffing around to see if I can find it. I’m not happy that the toy wasn’t tough enough to hold up for more than an hour. And my Mom isn’t happy paying for something that I couldn’t enjoy for more than an hour.
We have a 30 lb mini golden doodle and the humans in the house don't love toys with a squeaker. This is perfect because it still makes a noise for our dog when she chews it but it isn't as obnoxious as a squeaker and she doesn't have the same desire to tear it apart to get it. It sounds like there is a plastic water bottle insides it when she chews on it. We had a previous one and it lasted about 1.5 years. So this is #2. Not bad for a dog that will destroy a stuffie in about 10 minutes!
I do love how its quiet but only took 1 hour for my 6 month great dane to chew apart the ends and destroy it!
It only took my 6 month old Dalmatian puppy less than 15 minutes to chew the end off this toy, rendering it unusable.
Our 11 month old Vizsla pup LOVES this toy! We call it his sparkle bone and he is obsessed. This is our second one in 6 months and it has provided hours of entertainment. The sound, the way it bounces, versatile play… it’s all here in this sparkle bone!
The toy is very durable. My dog loves to play fetch with it and it is a very good fetch toy. It bounces in a random way each time I throw it. She chews on it often when not playing fetch. Unfortunately, my miniature golden does not have a strong enough bite to make it crinkle, but she still loves it.
I love this toy and it was the best thing I've bought my Yorkie since we got her. She was a super chewer, and I can say she's maybe taken a step down to perhaps just a hard chewer. She needs to be chewing something. And out of all my dogs she had the greatest jaw strength. She is not an inbred purse dog, she is a real ratter, who digs and wants to relentlessly wring out and murder whatever she can. She has had edible bones that take her mere moments to disappear. Bully sticks are zero work. She has chewed apart her fair share of things to get her into a lot of trouble. But we finally found something for her to chew (the natural wood chews, and a Hartz half nylon half edible thing) but this bone has been the best. I used a razor cutter to make the small holes at the ends a bit bigger. Big enough for training treats. I put a handful in and squeeze to distribute the length of the bone and it occupies her for a blessedly long time. She digs at it, chews at it, licks at it (I don't know how she still has a tongue, it sounds like sandpaper) carries it around does it some more and truly has bonded with this toy. She is a crinkle girl, not a squeaker. I am ecstatic, she has finally started to wear the actual end caps off at this point, they are starting to split off (so I give the life of it this way about four months) but I am going to buy a bunch now to have backups even despite the price. I was able to make it interactive for her while it stands up to her abuse. If kong ever discontinues it I will have major issues with them.
I honestly didn't expect this toy to last too long due to my dog being a 100 lb cane corso, but I really thought it would last longer than 15 minutes. I love this brand, but this specific toy is not my favorite
It took my 2 dogs about 3 days to destroy the first one and 7 days to destroy the 2nd one. They were able to pull the end cap off and drip the hard crinkly plastic out. Then they tore the rest of the bone to pieces. Otherwise they loved it until the broke it.
This has got to be the worst. My dog (45 pound pit bull mutt mix) is a super chewer so we went to Kong brand heat good things but this toy he destroyed in 2 days.
