I have always been satisfied with all the products we purchase for Ringo. He is a very aggressive chewer, I have found Kong toys to be able to stand up to his chewing, so we bought several of these, unfortunately after about ten minutes he was able to break out hte squeaker and started to eat the toy itself.
This is a perfect "fetch" replacement for a basic stick. This is not a Kong for chewing. My dog loves chasing this erratic bouncing stick. It squeaks until your big dog puts a hole in it. No squeaker to swallow. Great toy!
Bought 2 of these - trying to find "longer" toys as our dogs love to tug. They both love these but found them to be more of a chew toy. They ate the ends off but still in good condition. Our smaller of the 2 pits likes to just carry his around outside.
Winston loves his new Kong chew stick! I however would have perferred the red so it showed up on the floor and was easier to find the dark blue/purple is NOT quickly identified! When you are in a hurry that can lead to frustration and accidents!!
My Standard Poodle absolutely LOVES this toy! It also squeaks on both ends. He has tried to chew it, but so far so good. Note he is a fairly heavy chewer. Wonderful for outside play, and to keep his mind off of eating wooden sticks found in the yard.
I would recommend this for most dogs, just not my own. It seems tough and would last a while. My two dogs did not really like them, and they collect hair a bit too easily for me. I took them outside instead, but no interest from the dogs. They would probably be great fun for fetching in water.
I have a 30 lb mix 8 month old puppy who has a determination to destroy toys was hoping this one would hold up better as it did years previous for my 80lb pit, this toy did not hold up like it used to.
Jackson loves to fetch this stick and play pull with it. He has huge teeth and this thing is well made and can take his chewing and pulling. This is his second one. The first one held up to his rough play for almost a year.
My Golden Retriever quickly bit off pieces and this ended up in the garbage the first day. I did have this same toy for a previous Golden who played fetch and gently chewed on it for a long time.
Great toy! Our 85 pound shepherd mix has gnawed and chewed and squeaked himself into nap time trying to conquer this stick. And has not inflicted any damage, good news for others who have crazy active dogs.
