About the Author

Susan McCullough (Vienna, VA) writes about all things dog for magazines, newspapers and websites all over the United States. She is a columnist for Dog Fancy, the nation's largest-selling dog magazine, and has also written for Family Circle, NBC Universal, The Washington Post, Dogs USA, Puppies USA, Your Dog: The Tufts University Newsletter for Dog Owners, AKC Gazette, and AKC Family Dog. She is also the author of several books, including Beagles For Dummies and the award-winning Senior Dogs For Dummies. She is a multiple winner of the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) Maxwell Award for excellence in writing about dogs, and won the 2001 Eukanuba Canine Health Award for feature writing.
