No match for my lab :(

Bought the ball and the bone for my lab. Chalk Pond Retrievers recommended them for her labs, and I was inspired. Well. 10 minutes in and my girl has already ripped it apart and chewing on the foam like gum :( Now we have them locked up in a closet. I thought they would hold up better not having seams or ridges, but apparently my girl is a super chewer. Avoid if your dogs are heavy chewers. I recommend to all who have light chewers or "babies" that like to hold onto things.

Quality has gone downhill

No kidding I had the Hyper Pet chew stick (not ball) for 10 years. It held on through three heavy chewers. Finally it had so many teeth marks I had to replace it. Plus my Standard Poodle was beginning to be able to bite wee bits off the ends bc the toy was old. Replaced it here on Chewy and had to take it away from the dogs after one day because they were able to chew it to bits. Very unhappy as this was one of the few toys, in addition to Kongs, that had withstood their chewing. Took photos but they're too large to upload and beyond my tech capabilities to resize.

The Stick is made of benign stuff that, for a larger healthy dog, is non toxic and benign to both the teeth and GI system. My smaller dogs have had issues with their teeth, and this is safe to be out in case they get it, unlike the harder nylon sticks. Very happy with them!

hyper didnt last

My 11-month-old pit had this torn up in literally 10 minutes. I was very disappointed. She was able to tear off little pieces of the ball. Luckily I got it from her before she swallowed any of it. This might work better as a throw and fetch toy since they won't have it in their mouth long enough to chew on it but it definitely does not work as a hyper chew toy!

Our dog was so excited with the arrival of her new toy; however she had it apart before the end of the day and green pieces everywhere. Not good for very acquisitive and active dogs.

Best For Our Shiba Inu

He loves these hard foam bones. He has two that he chews every day. He came to us as a fearful teenager from a breeding operation and wouldn’t do anything except cower in his kennel and chew on on one of these bones when he thought no one would notice. They squeak like cheese curds when chewed vigorously.

Not for a Pit Bull

This was great for my smaller dogs but I am looking for something my Pittie won't tear up. The one I purchased had knobs on it and she had them eaten off in less than a day. For any other bread I believe it would be great.

Waste of money

Soo.. this thing is absolute garbage. My lab played with it for maybe an hour and the foam was already coming apart. Chew perforations everywhere and one of the ends ripped. And this isn’t with him just sitting there and gnawing on it either. There have been few toys that were destroyed so quickly. Don’t waste your money.

Nice Toy but Didn't Last

Was excited to get this toy in to occupy my 7 month old Pitbull. Too bad it lasted 10 minutes before foam bits were everywhere.
