made my kitties sick
I usually get this brand because I have a cat who’s allergic to poultry. I give it to both cats and they usually love it, but the last batch, which I got early January gave both kitties diarrhea. I had to switch foods on an emergency really bc both were sick and this was the only food I had. After their stomachs were I’ll, neither wanted to touch the rabbit either. They’d smell it and walk away. I ended up getting Tiny tiger beef for both and it worked well. This brand is usually great but this last batch had me concerned
Cats give this 5 stars!
Our cats have allergies to most fish and most poultry so finding a food that fits the bill and their preferences is a challenge. Since day one they have loved this food. I am so pleased to have found this for our girls!
Regular Favorite
Many I and Love and You flavors seem to be a big hit with my two cats, but this beef is a steady super favorite with my one cat especially. Good ingredients, nice creamy texture
made my cats sick
Beware of the canola oil! This ingredient in the food made my cats sick with diarrhea for over a week. We had emergency vet visits and all because it was so much. I gave them a couple of diarrhea meds to help but it still persisted for w week! They have never had such a reaction to trying any food and they eat a rotation of several wet food brands/flavors.
Good quality
My cat loved this in the variety pack, so I ordered more of the beef and he quit liking it. Looks good, smells good, but He prefers the variety pack. He likes Tiki cat chicken consomme, plain or with egg or cheese best at the moment. This product becomes very firm in the fridge, so I have to add water or broth to get him to eat leftovers while Tiki cat food has more moisture and is just as good leftover from breakfast to dinner in the fridge.
My cats don’t like it
Unfortunately, none of my cats like this brand. The food just sits there for hours untouched.
Wanted it to work so bad
I wanted my kittens to like this so bad and tried all I could to get them to like it. I've put toppers, mixed it in with their favorites, and even fed only this so they would have to eat it out of hunger. Even my gluttonous trash gremlin wouldn't have anything to do with it despite being hungry. They like this brand's rabbit recipe, and eat raw beef like it's kitty crack, but there's something about this brand's beef recipe that they are just not into.
Great quality cat food
I normally buy this brand of cat food for my picky eaters direct from “I and love and you”, but they are often out. Chewy always has plenty of products available and arrives very fast. My hungry cats always appreciate great service just as I do.
