This is an excellent choice for my senior boys, who both have dental issues. it's soft enough to be comfortable for them to eat. They agree that both the chicken and salmon flavors are delicious, and I'm happy that they're eager to eat such a nutritious food that meets all of their needs. The portions are just right for a meal. I've been feeding it for almost all their meals since it arrived and they haven't become bored with it, not at all. As for their food human: With one exception, it's also a good choice for me. The portions are perfectly proportioned for one meal. It's easy to get the food out of the containers, just hold it upside down over the bowl and squeeze or tap lightly and it pops right out. The food doesn't have a strong odor. The unopened containers stack neatly in the cabinet. So what's the exception? it's the foil that seals the top. It's sealed tight -- really tight -- to the plastic container, and for a person like me with weak hands it's hard to peel off. I've resorted to wearing my dishwashing rubber gloves to improve traction and still have to put some effort into peeling back the foil. But that's my only gripe about what is otherwise an excellent food.
