Feeding Instructions

Feed Kittens 3 2/3 - 6 servings daily. Adjust to maintain ideal body condition.

Transition Instructions

Introduce the new food gradually. This is the most successful way to ease your cat into the diet change. Start by mixing 25% new food with 75% current food. Slowly change the proportions over the next three days or so by gradually increasing the amount of new food and decreasing the amount of current food. At the end of this weaning process, you should be feeding 100% of the new food. You may encounter difficulties; for example, your cat might choose to eat only the old food, or not eat at all. However, a healthy cat can miss meals for a day or two with no ill effects.

  • Catsy Cline loves... BUT!?!?!

    By on

I have a tiny abandoned kitten (dumped on my door step) and I am just starting her on wet food... I got this in today- and she really loved it. I’m giving 4 stars because of that and the fact that I’m a huge fan of Chewy- I’d give 5, but because I don’t understand the directions. What does 3 2/3 - 6 mean!? I’d be super grateful if someone can help me breakdown the appropriate amount... She’s still getting KMR mixed in to the food as well as KMR in a bowl. (She’s learning to drink from the bowl yay lol Please can someone better explain this feeding thingy?

  • Kitten will eat it

    By on

It isn't the worst quality, but not the best. I wish I had noticed prior to buying that it has a undesirable ingredient called sodium tripolyphosphate pretty high on the ingredient list. Our kitten eats it, but it makes her stool smell terrible. I do love the convenience of perfect portions. Hoping other, better ingredient brands can mimic this packaging.

  • Vet ordered

    By on

I have cats that are roughly 9 years old and they are on the heavy side. So the vet recommended them to be switched to iams kitten food because of the higher protein content. So far they gobble it up. Chewy has good prices, and the containers came in excellent condition in boxes, fast 2 day shipping!

  • Kitten loved it..

We rescued a tiny kitten that had some GI issues, and when he was ready to transition from formula to soft food we used this because of the portions (They make things so easy) and he transitioned beautifully with no GI upset.

Our new kitten loves this. We tried a couple other brands which she loathes. But she loves Iams and the best thing is it’s portioned well and handy packaging for ease!

  • baby's favorite

We tried 3 brands of kitten wet food and this is by far his favorite. The other's were blue buffalo and blue buffalo wilderness kitten formulas. The smaller serving size is great. He's only 7 weeks old so he eats 1/2 serving at a time. One of my adult cats with food sensitivies begged to have some and also loves and tolerates it well.

  • Henry LOVES this food!

    By on

I started feeding this along with Hills indoor kitten formula. I feed one in the morning and one in the evening. Henry tries to knock me down as I'm opening it, he loves it so much. The food has low odor, unlike other canned foods. This has also helped with digestion and litter box smell. I highly recommend.

  • Kitten really loves this

    By on

My kitten really loves this food. My issue is that there is less in each package than in the cans, the packaging is no longer complely recyclable in my area, and since the amount is smaller we go through the containers much faster, so a case doesn't last as long.

  • I would recommend!

    By on

My cat likes the food, I like that the portions are appropriate and I don't have to put food in the refrigerator - My cat doesn't like food once it's too cold. The packaging is recyclable as well so that is a plus!
