Where is Iam's manufactured? Where do the ingredients originate?

All of Iams dry dog food products sold within the United States are manufactured at their plants located in the United States. Their ingredients are carefully selected for the health and well-being of the pets they feed. For this reason, they're committed to sourcing ingredients from suppliers located near their manufacturing facilities when possible. Like most other pet food and human food companies, some vitamins and minerals are supplied by their trusted partners in China. Rest assured they're confident in the ingredient integrity of all of their suppliers because they demonstrate the ability to consistently meet the strict and thorough standards of their own Supplier Quality Assurance program, regardless of where they are located. As a key part of this program, their suppliers undergo frequent quality audits to ensure expectations are met.
Are the ingredients non-GMO?

The ingredients in IAMS dog foods do not contain non GMO ingredients.
Are the kibbles the same size as the puppy ones? They look to be the same size on the picture.

The kibble size will be a little bigger than the Iams ProActive Health Smart Puppy Large Breed Dry Dog Food.

I run a sanctuary for senior, special need and hospice dogs and animals. I love tht I an order and not have to leave these precious souls to get supplies.And IAM'S chicken and rice is the one constant food I use for all of the dogs

Happy old dog

When his box arrived, Slip was so happy. He kept circling the box and sniffing it until I got it open. He ate a bowl of kibbles right away. But I have to say his true joy was in getting that box of milk bones.

Unhappy dogs

I have 3 dogs. 2 of them will eat anything! 1 is picky. Because of the picky eater, we have had to change food up frequently. Started giving them this food a week and a half ago. They ate it in the last and were content. Currently. All 3 dogs avoid eating this unless i add something like chicken broth. Very disappointed.

Something seems off with these bags of food. Our Great Dane has not finished a meal since we opened either bag, even when we add chicken broth to entice him. Do you know if there was a recall or any issues with Ian’s recently?

Gassy and Sick

I don’t know what happened to this brand. We will never buy Iams again. The first bag was fine. But we noticed that after she started eating the second bag of food that she became terribly gassy, all the time. She could (and would) clear a room, it smelled that bad. Her coat got waxy and smelly. She is a very athletic dog, but this food added weight to her. Not to mention the messiest/smelliest “trips outside” issues. I switched her food back to her old food (back in stock) and immediately she was fine. No more farts & the extra weight around her ribs was off by the end of the weekend. 100% believe the food was the cause of all these issues. Hoping her coat returns to normal soon.

Great for my dog

1 year old Chesapeake bay retriever. Had to change from another food due to getting sick for whatever reason. She has been on Iams for months no with no issues. Great quality dog food.

Something changed with this food

our lab has been eating this food for the past 3 years and recently she has started to tolerate this kibble less and less the past few months. she will literally have her stomach growl before eating it now. she's also been a lot more gassy recently. will be switching after this bag.

Iams dog food

So far so good, Sadee decides No and then we search for a different and A Dog food that meets HER desire at the present time. Sometimes she eats whole bag and if not I donate to my Employer, BACK MT, FOOD PANTRY and another FUR BABY GETS THE REWARD with pleasure. GUESS Not LIKE MY FUR BABY, spoiled !

Something about this food has changed!

My dog won’t eat this food anymore, even if I put something I know she likes on it. I have tried and tried. I am switching to another brand. I still have 2 unopened 40 lb. bags! I have no idea what has happened to it.
