I love how these chews are only made with cod skin, Cod skins are rich is r protein which support energy, building & maintaining strong muscles & Omega 3 fatty acids

I love how these chews are only made with cod skin, Cod skins are rich is r protein which support energy, building & maintaining strong muscles & Omega 3 fatty acids which support coat & joint health. Just like hoomans, fish is a much healthier meat than chicken, beef, turkey & pork. I always buy the Icelandic brand & try to get them Icelandic fis skin chews more often than any other kind of chew.

Amari adores Cod, so finding a single ingredient chew was a little hard to come across. We have been giving these to her since she was a puppy and she still goes crazy for them! They are single ingredient and have great sourcing which we love over here. They are semi-long lasting as well.

Not Ideal For XS Dogs

My dog is absolutely obsessed with these, but he is only 5 pounds, and once he tears apart the chew it does feel like a choking hazard because he can't fully chew

My dog is absolutely obsessed with these, but he is only 5 pounds, and once he tears apart the chew it does feel like a choking hazard because he can't fully chew through the skin when it breaks into smaller pieces. If they made a size for smaller dogs we would repurchase, but probably best for larger dogs.

Steer clear.

My dog is 30 lbs. and often eats treats this size. She loves fish so I thought these would be perfect. Unfortunately, they are slippery and due to the skin wrapping,

My dog is 30 lbs. and often eats treats this size. She loves fish so I thought these would be perfect. Unfortunately, they are slippery and due to the skin wrapping, she started to choke very suddenly. I reached into her throat to retrieve it and luckily was able to after several seconds, but again, it was slippery and hard to grasp. She is perfectly fine, but she bit down on my hand with all her strength in the process, and I am now in the ER. I know my dog very well and have never had issues with her eating fish treats, cod skin, or treats this size. Please, PLEASE take caution with these and carefully observe your dog while eating if you decide to buy them.
