Small and cute
I got the medium for my rats, but it’s too small for them to get into. I have some big tubby rats. Of course this must have been made for mice because it’s the perfect size for them. I’m going to use it as stairs for my rats since some of them are old. They love using it and chewing on it. So it’s a win. I highly recommend it even for rat owners if they have older rats that need sturdy steps to climb.
You get what you pay for I guess
I knew it would probably be too good to be true that this little hideout was only a few dollars. But I was a little shocked to find that it was literally just cardboard with paper on it. Not really what I was expecting. Not terrible. But I wouldn’t buy it again.

I got this for my rats but it's too small for them to fit in the holes. Will still use it as an agility obstacle.
awesome multi purpose toy!
I use these in my mouse enclosures as stairs to the water bottles. I love that it also is a chew toy and tunnel/hide. I have 10 females in a 75 gallon so anything that can be used for multiple purposes is a must to keep my girls all busy and entertained!!
Say Cheese!
I love this small animal hideout! Not only is it affordable, but look how cute it is! I ordered the size small for my fancy mice. The hole on the side is approximately 1 1/2" wide. This was plenty of room for my mice to fit through. When I added this to their enclosure, I watched them play on it for half an hour and they were squeezing through the hole with no struggle at all. I highly recommend supervising your pet when you first introduce this. If I had felt there was any danger at all, I would have pulled it out. I ordered the small (which fits perfectly in my whole hand) because I already have other goodies in their enclosure and just wanted some new enrichment that didn't take up much room. I would only recommend the size small for mice though. I would order up and get a size medium (if you have the room) for anything bigger than mice. That being said though, I would still use with caution because I honestly don't know if I would be comfortable giving this to my other rodents. Hamsters have unfortunately gotten stuck in the tubes from "hamster cages" and if the size medium of this product is smaller or even the same size as those openings then it's a definite no for me (for the larger rodents). Please just use with caution. I would like to mention as well that these hideouts are meant for small animals only (rodents). The company who makes these is Imperial Cat. Because of their name, I think it has caused a lot of confusion and folks have been led to believe these are for cats. This so far is providing the perfect enrichment for my littles. As far as durability, I believe it to be durable for a mouse. It is cardboard so they can easily chew this up if they want to, but they've been climbing all over it and it's still going strong. Overall, I am happy with this product. I would purchase again and I do recommend this for mice. :)
Hideout to play
This is something cool and different for my pet to play in. Might be too small for big adult chinchillas, but my smaller ones love it!!
Super cute
Bought this for my small deer mouse. I recommend getting the medium sized one. She is pretty small and the small size would be too small for her to squeeze through the holes.
