Recommended Dosage

Incurin is given by mouth once daily. The dose is not based on your dog's body weight, but you should always follow your veterinarian's precise directions. The typical dose is 1 tablet (1mg) per day for 7-14 days. If this dose seems to help after this time, speak to your vet about lowering the dose for maintenance. If the treatment is ineffective at the lower doses, go back to the dose that is effective. If treatment at 1mg daily is ineffective, the dose may be increased to 2mg daily for 7 days as directed by your veterinarian.

Storage Instructions

Store at or below 77°F with excursions permitted to 104°F.

Your dogs clinical symptoms should improve. He/she should stop leaking urine. Effectiveness is defined as no signs of incontinence for 7 consecutive days. An improvement will usually be noticed within a few days. Adjustment of the initial dose will often be necessary. Your veterinarian will help you to figure out the ideal dose of Incurin for your dog. Medication should be continued indefinitely if it is working.
