The Girls Love It

After refusing to eat Salmon Orijen, I wasn’t sure how this would be received. The girls love it. When I unpacked the bag and opened it, my Sharpei was by my side immediately. She scarfed down the two sample handfuls I gave her and was looking for more. My Pittie will be having hers for dinner. My son’s Corgi, who’s staying with us this week, loved it too. My Sharpei has allergies that manifest themselves in horribly itchy skin, so I’ll be watching to see if this aggravates that. If not, we have a winner.

Corbie turned up nose

Corbies instinct rabbit was out of stock. Ordered salmon. He would not eat it for 1 day. Finally ate some of it 2nd day. He is picky and rabbit is what he likes. Just waiting for his fave to be back in stock

Nice Product!

My 2 dogs really like the taste. My Springer Spaniels are now 18 mos old and don't need all of the carbs calories they were getting during their growth spurts. The amount that they defecate eating this food has greatly diminished as others have indicated. I think the concern that many of us have is that dog's immune systems seem to diminish at some magic number and then most develop tumors of some kind. I just hope that using these new kinds of freeze dried foods allows dogs to live longer. If there is any way to track and validate this, vendors such as this would have huge followings.

Good so far!

Had to switch to this food when notified that Canidae Fish Formula is being discontinued. It's been 2 weeks, and it hasn't caused any issues for our sensitive stomach boxer mix. That's a win!

Wonderful service

Our older dog decided she no longer liked this food. She has only a few months left, so we are giving her what she wants, of course. Sent on Auto-ship, I asked to return this order. The Representative not only canceled and refunded the order, she asked that we donate it to a local humane shelter which we will certainly do! Wonder program, lovely thought.

My lab loves it!

She would never eat dry dog food unless I topped it with scraps, but she will eat Instinct Original.

Our 2 love it

Got a 5 year old husky and a 4 year old husky lab mix. I’ve tried a lot of different brands. While most of the time they’ll eat it, they prefer this most of all. Our Vet complimented us on how shiny and full their coats were. No issues with bowel movements. The salmon stinks a bit, but seems like any kibble with fish in it does

good food high price

So my shepherd has severe and recurring yeast infections. This food was suggested to us by many people. Going off the cups per bag we ordered 24 lbs to last him almost a month. However we were highly shocked that the 24 lbs that we purchased didn’t even last him 2 weeks. He ate the amount we set out for him that we already calculated would last him approximately a month. If it helps him it’s worth the cost but we’re already over $100 into this food and it’s barely been 2 weeks so we can’t see any changes as of yet. Will know for next month he needs 44 lbs not 24 lbs to get him through until the next delivery. He seems to like the food. It’s extremely stinky, smells like fish food flakes. It’s been about two weeks and we haven’t seen any positive changes in his yeast infections, we also haven’t seen anything negative though. I was hesitant to put him on grain free food but he also is unwilling to take the meds for his yeast infections at this point and will actually vomit from stress when we finally manage to get him to take the meds.
