Feeding instructions are 1 tablet/day per 75 lbs. My dog is 45 lbs, so should I still give her one tab/day? She has serious joint issues & has been taking various kinds of joint care chews for years, so I'm assuming one tablet is not too much.

Answer by ChewySep 12, 2019
We recommend 1 tablet per 75 lbs of body weight. For smaller dogs and puppies, tablets can be broken in half.

I have an 8 pound Chihuahua. are these small bites or large? she won't eat large treats at all, they have to be tiny bites.

Answer by ChewyAug 04, 2019
The tablets are 6/10 of an inch in diameter. They are scored which makes them easy to break in half for smaller dogs.

My puppy has a bone infection and after exercise gets stiff and limps, would this help?

I have used Arthramine Max Healthy Joints & Bones Glucosamine Dog Supplement for years. I first used it for my nine year old dog when it became clear that he needed support for his joints. I subsequently began using it with my young dog (Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix) as a preventative measure. He is 14 years old and doing well. (Knock wood). It may just be his genetics, but I still feel better being proactive about keeping him as healthy as I can.

Had to buy this product when the lower dosage was apparently discontinued. Everything for these says the tablets are scored and easy to break. But the bottles I've ordered and tried so far haven't been. Tried pill cutters, kitchen knives, pretty much everything except for trying to bite it in half myself. Very frustrating. Looking for alternatives

they may have discontinued the regular arthramine as one reviwer stated, but this version has more mgs of the supplements in it and a higher variety of supplements in the tablets overall. a lot of supplements for dogs and humans alike work better with others (like prebiotics and probiotics together) so I'm okay with this version of the product. it helps that i have a pomeranian, so we can split his in quarters as he takes other supplements as well. he likes them well enough, though i can hardly stand opening the bottle - it smells strongly like a multivitamin (as it probably should, but a least favorite smell of mine) with a little dog food on the side. we are using as preventative care for our 1yr pomeranian who's already prone to subluxations and minor injuries during normal play

So far so good! My 8yr old cattle dog was starting to show her age and a knee injury she sustained around 2yrs old. She would occasionally favor her leg and would get up from her bed looking like the tin man in need of a good oiling. She is still quite active and it troubled me to see her starting down that path... it’s not time yet! My vet suggested we try supplements and leave pain meds to my discretion as my girl is very healthy for her age. I ordered this one and am happy with the results so far! My girl is definitely one who can’t be fooled by a “special treat” and will spit out any pill I have to give her no matter how well concealed. This supplement I can simple split in half and then break apart onto her food and she just eats it! She has been wrestling with her little brother more often and has looked well lubricated when she gets up from her bed. She has stomach sensitivities and there has been no vomit or diarrhea!

I am ordering my second bottle of Arthramine Max for my 9 year old Bixhpoo. He has Luxating Patellas, that caused him pain and limping, and not be able to run. I started him on Arthramine Max 4 months ago. The results are awesome! He is not limping, and runs like he used to in the yard. I am very pleased with how it is working for him.
