The Best For Our Senior Dog...
By guitwin on Mar 6, 2021
We have tried so many different brands, with little success, like Hill's Science Diet, Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, etc., but so far, the Wellness Complete Health Senior formula, seems to be the absolute best for our very picky pup... and for whatever it's worth, it is not quite as mass-produced as Purina or Blue Buffalo, so it seems to be much higher quality, with better overall ingredients! Highly recommended, and dog approved. A+++++

Senior rescue is health again
By ACSCHMIDT98 on Feb 5, 2021
When my partner and I took in a family member’s neglected 9 year old lab, he had heart worm, joint issues, GI issues, and behavioral issues. One of our first steps was to get him off of the cheap and nutritionally lacking food he had been fed his whole life. We switched to Wellness Core after reading reviews and discussing with our vet what his gut and heart needed. And it made a night and day difference. Although many factors contributed to him recovering and improving, I truly do believe that this brand of food made a massive difference. After switching it was abundantly clear that his energy was improved, general temperament, his gas, diarrhea, and overall GI health were all solved within When my partner and I took in a family member’s neglected 9 year old lab, he had heart worm, joint issues, GI issues, and behavioral issues. We have switched between different recipes for him and feed a combo of this recipe and a wet food from WC and it’s exactly what he needed to begin and continue his recovery. This food, although slightly pricier than your average brand, is worth every penny. … more

Wellness for good health
By Polly on Feb 25, 2021
I am assuming my new companion, an 82-pound lab, agrees. Polly's enjoyment of her morning and evening meals confirm the product truly is providing good-quality food. For a 9-year old, she has a lot of stamina. I figured out that for a dog requiring 3 cups daily total, I will need to provide 9.35 thirty-pound bags a year. So I now can set up auto-ship every five weeks. Thanks for auto-ship and for a food my Polly loves.

Low Sodium
By Andy on Jan 30, 2021
Our 13 year old Crocker Spaniel has heart disease so we needed low salt food, tried RC Cardiac it did not agree with his GI, researched Wellness, liked all the ingredients, liked the company history and its model. Ordered the food from Chewy whom I trust and my little Sammy just loves it, 5 stars from the customer, good job Chewy & Wellness.

Good Changes
By Mollie on Jan 21, 2021
Our first order was end of January and by May, maybe earlier, we noticed the 10 or more lipomas that had been growing in number and size x2 years, were almost gone. Some close to pingpong ball size. None now at all. This was the only change and we had always bought better $ food for her. Pricey but nice to see her healthy. 22lb MinPin mix 11 yrs old

Healthy Dog Food
By DoxieMom on Jan 24, 2021
I probably won’t buy this dog food again because the pieces are kind of large. Even though it says it’s for small, medium and large size dogs. I have 3 doxies. Two of them did like it but the 3rd one smelled and wouldn’t touch it. It is a great dog food but I need to feed everyone the same thing.

It's A Hit!
By MomofCarmen on Dec 15, 2020
We are almost out of our first 30 lb bag of the Senior Complete Health Chicken formula, for my 12+ yo four legged daughter. As soon as I started mixing it with her regular Complete Health similar formula, Carmen was excited, for her, for the change. We all get tired eating the same thing day in and years out. I had started putting Wellness treat "crumbs" in her bowl trying to get her to eat, especially after her emergency surgery this summer. Of course she expected that to continue. I finally started the Senior, after only feeding the original since 2003, when I discovered Wellness and saw within weeks a thicker, healthier coat, etc. of the two girls I had then. I finally started the Senior, after only feeding the original since 2003, when I discovered Wellness and saw within weeks a thicker, healthier coat, etc. of the two girls I had then. I trust this brand, it's one of a few that supplements all its dry food with taurine, and my girls liked it. I was reminded when enquiring of my Vet, pre-pandemic, about Carmen's food, the grain free issues and protein, that at her age, she's not building muscle, and too much protein can stress their kidneys (my Vet is anti grain free). Carmen likes this formula solo, with her tiny Wellness Jerky "crumbs". It's very similar to the other formula, uses oatmeal and barley, and is modestly lower in protein. We both give it 2 thumbs up for quality, and Carmen will eat almost her full meal in one sitting, which hasn't happened in quite awhile. The bags I get from Chewy are very fresh. The bag that's almost finished, is Best By November 2021, and I was mixing it for months with her old formula until it ran out. Great company, great product, from my research, and from a great source. … more

Good for my picky dog
By Hannah on Jan 2, 2021
My dog is fairly picky with her food, so I was really happy when she seemed eager to eat this kibble. I’m happy with this food, she is a senior dog but is in very good health and this food agrees with her so I’ll stick with it. I would recommend this good quality food.

Senior Diet
By AJordan on Feb 1, 2021
I just realized my dog is a senior and needs a change in food. Have noticed lethargy. She seems to love this and look forward to her feeling better.

so far she likes it
By 1234 on Feb 1, 2021
She really loved it at first, and she is still doing ok with it. Smells pretty good, decent quality and bag size. My dog is a 7 y/o picky pittie.
