Used to be great
My senior pup used to LOVE this food, but it seems that the formula (and packaging) recently changed. When it came in the can with the metallic label, the food was much wetter… and apparently tastier, because my dog would always gobble it up. Now, it’s much drier and she won’t touch it, which is unfortunate because the nutritional profile is exactly what she needs.
My dogs all hate this
My English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Chin, and Cavalier all hate this. When forced to eat it, one vomits and the other 2 get diarrhea. I tried to get them used to it for several months and now give up. I also hate it for requiring a can opener.
Best Food
All my picky Senior chihuahuas love this food.. No coaxing, no turning up their noses. I am thrilled!

Cans difficult to open!
Not only are the cans NOT a pop top like every other can food, but I’ve burned through two can openers in the past 3 months on these cans alone. Not worth the hassle. Switched to a high quality fish food with a pop top can.

Another sensitive stomach Senior dog
My friend 15 year senior Labrador would no longer eat in the morning. We switched to this formula. Half a can of wet Senior mixed with a scoop of Wellness Senior Core dry food. Served twice daily with her supplements. Incredible difference in energy, activity, gut health, and just all around health.
