Does this have a tray in the bottom?

This crate does not come with a tray in the bottom but it does come with a 2.75” padded, removable dog bed for comfort.

if I buy 2 of the custom dog houses on one of them can I get the side door on the right side because I want to put them together as one

Each of Crate is specifically designed with a general purpose, and making alterations in the design could affect the structure of the crate , and affect the way it functions. Therefore, we do not recommend making any alterations to this crate.

Assembly was a bit tedious. The biggest fault is the double doors don't fit right. I can force them closed and latch it, but they are under tension and want to pop

Feels very sturdy and made from good-feeling wood composite, but we had a couple of issues with the assembly. First was the inner metal latch; it didn't line up

Feels very sturdy and made from good-feeling wood composite, but we had a couple of issues with the assembly. First was the inner metal latch; it didn't line up well, so we needed to drill a better hole. When it came to sliding down the walls, one wall, with its holes on the base alignment was slightly off (1/4in off!), so it refused to slide down.

If you had a more aggressive dog then this may not be the locking mechanism or gate system for you. It looks great in my home office. The top will need a protective cloth but happy to be able to use it like a tabletop.

Solid table but the locks on this thing suck. It is a sliding mechanism and DOES NOT slide very far into the lock. Just a slight jiggle makes it come loose.

This crate is very attractive in our Family Room. I love the fact that it serves as an end table as well. After having a conventional metal crate in our FR for 28 years, it is so nice to not feel cluttered with a dog crate. It was packaged very well and took about 45 minutes to assemble. Our Miniature Schnauzer loves it ! I would definitely recommend this item.

Broken piece

A part of the frame had broken dowels. After gluing the 2 pieces together, it was also held together by the table top and adjoining pieces...so for now, it seems

It looks nice and she now has plenty of room, but even without the broken pieces, the quality is questionable. Hardware is difficult to move/slide.
