Can the lids be removed for cleaning?

The Lids may be removed for cleaning. When washing is needed, empty the contents from these containers. Wash by hand in the sink with warm soapy water (use nontoxic soap). Remove dried on residue with a dish sponge or plastic brush. Rinse thoroughly in clean water and allow to air dry completely before refilling.
Does the food scoop have measuring lines for smaller portions (ie 1/2 cup, 1 cup) or can it only be used as a 2 cup scoop?
