Hi, should I put it on cats stomach where she is over grooming or just any where on her back while petting her?

Answer by ChewyNov 14, 2019
Put a few drops in your hand, rub hands together and pet your animal’s head, body, ears, and/or paws.

Can this be used along side a pheromone diffuser?

Answer by ChewySep 22, 2020
For your pet's health and well-being, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to see if this is a viable combination for them.

If my cat is currently taking seizure medication is this product ok to use?

Answer by ChewyJun 12, 2020
Due to your pet's diagnosed condition, it's recommended to consult with your veterinarian to ensure this supplement is safe to give along with any medications.

I'm confused. Do you put it in their food and water, or, rub it on them?

Answer by ChewyMar 11, 2019
This solution can be applied a multitude of ways. You can put a few drops in your hand, rub hands together and pet your animal’s head, body, ears, and/or paws. You can also add 3-5 drops to water and food, or use the optional spray top to mist a room, carrier, bedding, car interior, litter box area, stall, trailer, or other specific problem area.

Jackson Galaxy is great with all his cat advise - but these drops didn’t help at all with my female cat (4) licking her belly fur. I added 4-5drops to her wet food, she ate it no problem - also tried to put a few drops on her fur. The licking has not stopped, after 1.5 month of giving her the drops. Vet says she’s healthy, no areas of concern, it’s just a habit. But the drops didn’t do the trick. Waste of money unfortunately.

Pending progress using this!

I give it 4 stars and not 5, because after 10 days I'm not sure kitty's leg fur is growing back substantially. Thankfully, she still eats her wet food with 2 drops in it, twice a day. So she gets a full dose daily. Thought she may smell it as it does have an alcohol (preservative) smell but she's okay I use these drops with a feliway pheromone diffuser, should the extensive fur licking be a stress or boredom thing. Extra toys offered and more daytime play on the cards too.

After a self-inflicted injury to the tip of her tail and several weeks of treatment, the good news was that the vet decided amputation was not necessary. However, the bad news turned out to be that we ended up walking through 4+ months in the "cone of shame", which she's been miserable in. Over that time, she developed an almost compulsive need to get to her tail, so anytime I took off the cone to give her a break, I had to keep my eyes on her. Even after it seemed to have healed, she get in this mindset of needing to bite her tail, which would eventually reopen the wound and we'd go back into the cone again. I wanted to try everything possible to break this habit before returning to the vet, for fear of them recommending amputation, so decided to give Obsession Remedy a try. Did it work? I'm not sure. After 2 months of use, I will say that she doesn't seem to show that compulsive need to get at her tail anymore, though she still has some interest in it - it just now feels easier to snap her out of that mindset. On the flip side, her tail has mostly healed & scarred over, so she may not be as concerned about it ... however, I'm still applying the Obsession Remedy and will continue until I'm confident that we're past this pattern of behavior, in case this really has been the difference-maker.

Maggie has had issues with over grooming most of her life. She has a bare patch on her belly that she would not stop licking. I have used Jackson's products and love them. The Obsession Remedy did the trick! Her over grooming is getting batter and the fur is growing back! (I put the solution on her food twice a day.)

I bought this for my cat who all of a sudden started licking her belly. The fur is gone. I was hoping this would help, but nothing has changed. I tried a few similar solutions and none of them worked for her. The vet says she healthy, it's the weight gain. I haven't been successful in getting her to lose a bit of weight either. All started this last year.

No Luck

Have been using as directed and have seen little or no change in Roxi's obsession. Very disappointed.

No more pulling out fur

My cat was pulling out her fur. It’s certainly wasn’t obsession, she’s been using it for years now and she doesn’t do it anymore.

My 5 y/o cat has Pica and anxiety. He specifically like to chew on chords and hair. We’ve tried everything to get him to stop over the years. I just happened across this product recently and it has been a game changer. He went from trying to eat thing daily, to maybe once a week. Definitely recommend!
