Pup's favorite treat
These are our food-motivated pup's absolute favorite treats. They're fragrant and soft, and work well for breaking up into multiple little treats (great for a constant stream of treats while trimming nails). They're also easy to crumble into a powder for sprinkling on top of food or in a kong.
These treats gave my dog his food motivation back!
I adopted a dog about a year ago when he was four months old. When he was really young, he was super food motivated, and it was easy to train with him. Then all of a sudden, if anything else was happening around us, he wouldn't be interested in taking any food from me. Since then, I've struggled to find a treat that he is excited to take and increase his focus AND that I felt good about feeding him a lot at a time. My friend had recommended beef liver, and while he was excited and focused again, I didn't feel good about using it a lot because, in large amounts, it can lead to toxicity. Then I came across these treats and thought I would try them. He LOVES them! He is so focused again, and because they are so low-calorie, I feel good about using them for training. Based on his size and recommended calorie intake, I can feed him a little under half the bag daily. As an added plus, these treats are better for the environment and are more nutrient-dense than other treats. I think I've found my go-to treats and I couldn't be more excited! I ordered the other chewy treat flavors from Jiminy's, including the grub treats and I'm super excited to try them out and see if he likes them just as much!

Dogs love this treat. My dogs are medium-sized and extremely food motivated. This is a higher value treat than they are accustomed to and so it works very well for training.

My pup goes nuts for these treats. These are our highest value treats for keeping her focused. She knows what she needs to do to get her cricket treats and she does it!
They changed the formula
They changed the formula of these. They used to be moist enough to wrap around medicine, but now they just crumble.

Sustainable AND yummy!!
My Cooper LOVES these! I bought them because I adore that they use way more sustainable methods than most brands, and their dog food is veterinarian formulated. These were all pluses for me, but I wasn't sure about Cooper. As soon as he tried these though, I think they may have become his new fav!

Excellent on multiple levels
Reasons why these are an elite treat: 1. Taste/Acceptance: My dogs, my sister's picky dog, and some dogs at the vet clinic I work at all happily scarf them down. I like that pumpkin is the first ingredient, as it offers useful benefits 2. Sustainability: I'm often frustrated by the general apathy towards sustainability here in the southern US. The dog food industry by nature is one that is difficult to make sustainable, so I love that Jiminy's is offering products that make a difference. I still don't know if I would be comfortable feeding my dogs a completely insect-based diet vs. an animal-based one, but I'll happily offer the treats. 3. They make great pill wraps! One of my dogs is allergic to chicken, so the standard pill pockets by Greenies or Milk-Bone are not an option for him to take his medications. These treats are soft/pliable enough that you can easily take 2-3 and smush them around a pill. My dog happily eats them just as he does when they aren't wrapped around a pill.
