My dog loves jerky, and he got really excited with this treat. Looking for meat alternatives, and am delighted to be able to feed him something with a lower carbon footprint.

I recently enrolled my 18-month-old golden retriever in an Intermediate Obedience Class that requires small, chewy treats for training. I was drawn to this product because of its rich source of protein from crickets and that they’re made with all-natural and healthy ingredients. I use healthy treats to supplement my dog’s regular kibble during training, so I always make sure they’re of good quality. These treats are soft, chewy, and don’t leave any nasty odor on my hands. I had to cut each morsel into smaller pieces for training, which was a bit of a pain, but it worked. Even though the package says they’re for small dogs, my 68-pound golden has been responsive to training with these treats. I’ll be using them again in the next few classes.

I will be honest, I was a little weirded out with the idea of giving my dog a cricket treat but these left me pleasantly surprised. They smell like regular dog treats and my dogs really enjoyed them. They have a pleasant aroma and a really nice chewy consistency. They are a great size for training and rewards as well. I would definitely order these again.
